I finally pulled the trigger on this watch, my first rep. I can't wait to get it!

Just picked one of these up (299K) and wanted to post some feedback. This is a gorgeous watch. Definitely worth the money, and a super quality rep. I don't think I'll ever get rid of it.

I felt the same way for the entire three months the watch lasted until it broke. Frustrated with first Replica watch buy...

Just for curiosity: what is broken?

Well let me clarify that the watch is beautiful to look at; I received many compliments on it when it was functioning. One morning on my drive to work I noticed that it hadn't kept it's power over night so I rolled my wrist back and forth a few times to get it going again, and I could hear what sounds like a ball bearing loose in the watch case. I was really surprised; I haven't exactly "babied" it, but I certainly haven't thrown it around or dropped it. Sucks.

Open the watch and press in the rotor back on its post.

Thank you for your suggestion--sounds like this is fixable by a noob then. ?

I've never opened a watch case on an automatic; Is this a really simple operation? I've read about the "ball o' tape" method, so I'd probably be using that (as I don't have a case key). I guess I'm just a little concerned about creating a bigger mess than already exists...

This is where the watch is now... don't know enough to move on from here, but I suspect I need a REALLY tiny screwdriver to tighten the post. The weighted rotor? is loose, and sags a bit from the post. (I hope I'm using the right lingo here.)

I'm not sure what the notched washer thing (lower right in the picture) is that's come totally loose, or how to reassemble it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

guys, i sure could use a hand in trying to figure this out. You see the little washer in the lower right hand part of the picture? I'm not sure how to re-secure that, or where it's really supposed to be in the end. Any tips, links, or suggestions would be most appreciated.

EDIT: OK I feel like a bit of a fool. I just went back to Puretime to look at the pics of the watch and was reminded he had some open caseback pics on there. I've got the rotor and the "washer" back where they need to be, but when I close the case back tight, it comes loose again. Then the "Washer" is just rolling around back there. Any suggestions?

Your best bet is to probably send it to a watch smith. Have it serviced and have them adjust/fix anything that's rolling around inside. The more you wear it with the issues, the greater the chance of it damaging something inside.

Very simple fix bro! Send it to MD2020 over at RWG. He is awesome and very reasonable. He's in the CONUS Midwest.

I'm assuming there is nothing stopping one from putting a leather strap on this?

I received a PAM 299 K Noob from Toro some weeks ago and I was impressed by the quality of this combo.
The crystal, although it has "frozen halo" in clyclops, is really awesome.
I like this watch mush more that I expected !!
I bought this watch just for collection, since I didn't got a PAM bracelet, but now It take some time in my wrist.

Strongly recommended

NOTE : It is really heavy !! Much more than I expected
