Honestly I don't know. It's a code identifying model and year, but I never really bothered to decipher it.

The four letter code at the back of the buckle is most likely a manufacturing code but I have not found any reference to decipher the meaning. I have seen more than one code yet the design of the buckle is the same.

True that.
Deciphering these "codes" would be the holy grail...
Why settle for less...

Than again, if comparing gen side by side would have been a dead giveaway don't cha think?

That's a rather pointless statement. How would a code be a dead giveaway when probably only a very small number of people would recognize what the correct codes are? Unless you're working in the Officine Panerai organization.

How do people with a 6+ inch wrist wear this watch? I have a 6.3 inch wrist. I've always had a thing for submersibles and had a pam 364 noob previously. It was uncomfortable on my wrist so I had to sell it.

Is it more comfortable because it's a destro by any chance? Looking for advise on this.

It's a honking piece of metal, but the destro helps and the titanium makes it light as a feather. If it's the size that concerns you, either you can pull it off or you can't. If it's the weight, this is much better than your old 364.

Yep. Weight concern = titanium is lighter; crown guard digging into your wrist = destro removes that concern.

Cool cool. Thanks for the heads up. It shall be on my hunting list on m2m in that case. But just curious, the 364 is titanium as well. How is it any different in weight. I believe I sold it because the cg was digging into my bony wrist.

The design of the bezel is the main difference. The PAM364 borrows its old style bezel design from the PAM285 which in turn borrows its bezel from the PAM194. The PAM569 on the other hand has a bezel design which is found on all modern PAM submersibles. This accounts for the 10 grams (or 7%) difference in weight, with the PAM569 being the lighter of the two.

Thank you for the clarification. Gonna try to get one soon as a tester :D

Nope, all gone. M2M is the only option. I couldn't even get the VSF 508. PAM reps are dying out, it's all about Rolex now :(
