You don't buy from an authorized Rolex dealer; quite the opposite. You deal in illegal goods.

Would you, as an approved VISA payment service, find this acceptable? Maybe an explanation as to why there are often issues.

Solution? Don't pay with VISA.

The truth is, there are many sellers from China who sell brands as well as watches, and what they do, they set up a sale of something not real on AliExpress, for example: they sell screws, and each type of screw is actually a different color of a watch or a different model, and of course the watches of The real brands, they advertise in certain places, and there for each real product, it is written what should be chosen in the fake product, this is how I bought 2 Louis Vuitton bags on AliExpress.
Perhaps this is also an option so that on the one hand it will be possible to pay by credit card, and on the other hand not to endanger the 2 parties [because if AliExpress discovers that the seller is selling imitations, it deletes it]

I am looking at Chazing Time and Intime Watch, they seem rather ok and are of course trusted dealers. They both announce on their front paige, that VISA and master cards are options of payment, so I placed an order of 1600 US. However, after plazing the order, it turned out, that the gateway was "currently" down for the moment for one of them. After plazing the order, the other dealer suddenly claims, that there was a "paylimit " of 850 US. On top of that, the shipping price was 130 euro from Hongkong (they are obviously using "triangle shipment" to Denmark).

I really don't understand, you are now participating in an illegal activity, literally. In most parts of the world, selling reps is illegal, while in some parts of the world, buying is also illegal. What kind of protection do you want when you are doing an illegal trade? 30 days no-question-asked refund and 55 days 0 interest payment term? Wake the f**k up! You are paying 5% of the gen price without taking much of a risk, what do you really want?

Here at RWI, we have Trusted Dealers, you already minimize the risk of being scammed. All you have to do is open an account at some fintech like Revolut, Wise etc. What do you possibly want more?

Do so with extreme caution! It might only be a matter of time before you get hacked like I was this month. Virtual cards, Wise,etc seem to be a must. I learned my lesson

I’ve paid Trusty using my Apple Card a couple of times. I wait for the payment to go through and then request a new card number. You can do it right on the iPhone app, it takes seconds to change.

Of course if you can use an APP like Revolut to issue a VCC and then do it as a single use card, that will be nice and safe for sure.

Nowadays most of the fintech incl. PP can get virtual cards burner cards in minutes. They also can provide physical cards if you need them.

Wasn’t physically stolen but had unauthorized charges. I only used that card for rep purchases. I got a new one now

Any bank app now issues virtual cards.
But revolut is superior because of the precharge

Like Karbon74 said, Revolut is the best esp. they have single-use cards.

As long as you are using a trusted dealer there shouldn’t be any risk involved for the buyer. If you’re using a non trusted dealer they’re trying to give you the headache of getting burned by customs or them sending you a shitter.

I give my credit card provider praise because they spotted the fraud fairly quickly and I at least didn’t use one of my primary cards. I hope those who read this thread are alerted and use a different payment method or avoid cards

I don’t know when my next purchase from Trusty or anyone will be now. I was ordering about once a month. I’m going to look into what the guys here suggested. I did buy a bracelet that came that I painlessly bought with PayPal. I remember when everyone accepted that and it was easy it’s just as well though, it’s a good idea to curb my spending a bit any way

What a nice reply of Trusty Time! They hold their words! What a good day to place an order like I have done now. The only thing I can imagine for now, which would makes the day even better for all of us, is getting their "watch-wishlist" working, cause I have quite some wishes to be done
