Why ruin a perfectly good looking watch ? I would have had it chrome plated and as shiny as it could get. That reflective bling shining and twinkling in some chicks eyes would have hypnotized her into my arms in a minute............ As Pecman said above, why, oh why, oh why !!!

I had a bit of that effect when swimming in a swimmingpool (Chlorine?)

No problem man. I do think that top photo has a filter on it to accentuate the blue, but the other two look untouched. That abalone effect is pretty cool.

I believe putting it in a sealed container of ammonia will give you that look.

Put a cup of ammonia in a bowl. Place a cup, upside down in the bowl.

Put the watch on top of the cup and NOT submerged in the ammonia.
