That will be a must!

Anyway, your knowledge of the Sky Moon Celestial is impressive... The milky way stars should be more dense... I agree, but I noticed this after I read your post!

Really, for a watch that costs a bit less than 500 $ when the Gen is 400.000 + $ I think it's a more than acceptable replica!

Thanks buddy. I did a little reading back when I did this review.

You are absolutely right. It’s a model that you just want to enjoy as a kind of - fantasy impossible in real life - piece.

Well,

the 6104R is here !

It is so SO beautiful and well made, the diamond Clasp is really a nice touch !

Unfortunately, it seems like Dead on Arrival...the Micro Rotor Movemetn seems to not charge and even gently trying to do a manual charge (i like to be gentle, so i did maybe 15 winding turns...nothing happens ...).

I will talk to Andrew (Trusty ) as soon as possible about this problem, i did own a 5227 ZF Calatrava which also had the same problem (Micro Rotor aswell), i ended up selling it...but this 6104R i would never sell it, it is MAGINFICIENT !

Sorry to hear that. He should take it back and compensate you with a new watch.

The rep looks nice. I like it. The dates are correctly oriented. Also there is a nice Milky Way pattern.
They put the diamond in the case at 6, which should only be in the platinum version. But that’s a really small error. And the moon is possible to hide. So it’s not a big deal that it’s not correct.

For me only big mistake in this watch is the moving seconds disc. That should’ve not been there.

If you send the watch for repair to a watchmaker I’d suggest you get it removed. It will look much more like the gen without. Specially when the watch is running.

Deeply appreciate your answer.
Is it possible if paying more (1k-3k), i could get TDs to source a modded version with improved movements etc? I have never done that before.

I don't think so, it is a miracle that it is repped altogether ;)

Anyway, i've other Micro Rotor watches and they work perfectly...it was my fault, i should have it serviced locally.

Never sent it back to China !

Hi Thanks for the post!

On the earlier posts on this thread, someone mentioned the leather strap was really crap? What do you think of the strap on your one?
Also, is there a modder this watch could be sent to that specialises in Patek (like lengend is in APs) or do you think any modder can fix the faults. i.e. like removing the moving stars disk, satin colour dial, extra stars, etc., ?

THANK YOU for any help!!

That’s the big question really. If any watchmaker will take up the task to mod it. If they were to do these mods, I would also buy one for modding.

The satin color on the dial should be possible, but i think it’s difficult to make the star pattern maybe.
Second disk I would guess can be removed easily.

It could be nice if someone did the mods.

Sorry man. We win some we lose some. Part of the replica game but it still stings for it to happen. Hope some positive karma comes your way soon.

Personally I’ve always changed to a proper alligator strap on all my Patek reps. The leather straps are bad quality.

@BlossmboofyBoofystewie2 (what a nickname !!) : the strap was not great but not actually that bad .

I think that a piece like this will be a unicorn in the next years, i wore it once outside, it is a watch that 'everybody is looking at you '; i mean, it is a watch that is VERY noticeablr on the wrist !

I know that the dial and the stars etc can be imrofved, but it is a Really good Rep of an unobtainable Gen .

THANKS!! Yeah I know that the name is TERRIBLE but at 73 I don't know how to change it (except join again and therefore look like a "newbie") so I live with it. Anyhow, does anyone know a modder who can "fix" this watch?
