Sorry to get you mad, bro, I don't want to question anything about your idea, I trust you 100% and I know about moonphase. My opinion is why Puretime can says it's actually working moonphase? Just curious because they're dealer so at least they should know about moonphase. I don't want anyone read on the website and think it's actually moonphase and then, receive a wrong one which only shows day-night.

Because by functional they mean that it’s not static. If you read on for example the Tds description on the JLC ultra moon ZF they will write specifically that it’s a functional moon phase that functions not like a day night indicator like others moon phases.

And no, they don’t know about moon phases or how they should function. They just sell what they get from the factories and description from the factories.

Lets just hope that 3KF replicates the watch and the required module, QA LU 24H/206, so that a proper functioning moon phase can be achieved.

Hi mate, how about the selling? I got the 5205 today in Rose Gold, good looking but I see something, at 0:00, only the date number change, the day not change. For example,
yesterday was Thursday 4. At 0:00, it changes to 5 but the day is still Thu, not change to Fri. It only change to Friday at 3:00.

Have you ever experienced this problem?

I think it’s just slow to change the day. It’s not a “problem”. It’s how it’s built.

Sorry for my short-headed answer, but i'm a bit irritated at the moment. I've consulting so many people on this watch and answering in the thread and people's private messages, used time on this review and all. And still i'm having such a hard time selling this watch. So i'm done being a consultant.

I posted there above because I sensed the irritation that I have never seen in any of your threads and posts. I felt that the fact that your watch failing to be sold bothers you so much (and rightfully much because we all have bills to pay) that you started to contrast your cold sale thread and your warm responses and great amount of time helping. To me, you have finally found the right occasion to express your anger towards people not doing their research yet you constantly still helping them.

What I meant, in my post above, is that your cold sale thread should not be connected to what you have done in this thread in any way, as your needs to move the watch and receive the fund has nothing to do with your appreciation to watches.

Edit: Almost as that I wish that other people's doing should not affect your own enjoyment from these watch and helping people.

I'm so sorry man, I just want to share as I'm new and being insprired by your reviews. I think the reason it's not being sold yet is not many people are interested in Patek, I mean for them only Rolex is watch. You can see most of the sale are Rolex. So I think just keep the sale post there, if you cannot sell it, it means there's a reason for you to keep it and it does not want to leave you lol. Nice weekend bro. Also the 5070 is very nice, I really enjoy it.

Thanks for your words. I believe most of the time a rep's success is tied with its flaws. If there are flaws people cannot live with, then the rep wont get popular.

Blue-black gradient dial, 40mm case, functional calendar, PP, what's there not to like hehe. To be honest i would never sell it if it weren't because i've bought a gen AP perpetual calendar. I have a limit in number of watches i can have at any time. Therefore i can't have 2 calendar watches. And i'm clearing out reps also. Will maximum have 3-5 reps in my collection.

It's the same story in fasion when everyone just looking for LV, Gucci and completely don't have any idea about other more prestige brand such as Kiton, Canali and many more. That's the reason I don;t buy any Rolex because it's too popular. Also I don't think the flaw of these PP is a problem, I don't see any problem with it so far. You have an elegant style, I can see it from your Range Rover lol. So if you cannot sell it, just keep it as a good memory bro.

Although again it's a risk for them to use a lot of money to develop a clone movement that can only be used for a certain watch. If that particular watch doesn't sell it's a bad investment. So i don't see them making clones for the next coming years of complicated Pateks. But we'll certainly see a lot of models that use the 324sc as base like calatrava etc.

Yeah. The celestial could be nice. But the minute repeater is a long shot. There aren’t any movements available other than one Seagull created a few years back. But that Seagull watch was priced at 5 figure. So it wouldn’t be possible to buy in rep.

Minute repeater is indeed a long shot. But I really wish they can make a decent rep of any grand complication such as 5290 or 5270.

I have been thinking a lot lately about getting this watch for my collection. It is not cheap but beautiful. However I have been warned by one of our TD that they have decided not to sell it anymore due to the complicated datewheel that has caused them multiple problems. Any problems with that?

Never had any problems. Try another TD. Sometimes they tell stories if there’s a watch they can’t get.
