Not really mate, the "p.1000" in your 574 is not a clone movement, it's just a st2555 with a deco plate.

Yes, you're right. A clone movemment is not the same as decorated movement. Thank you for clearing that up. 
For the movement and the thinness, the issue would be finding ANY movement thin enough to fit into the case AND have the case be 10.78 mm thick or whatever. Even if you closed the case back or just didn't make any attempts to make the movement look anything like panerai's. It's just not happening correct? And if that is correct what would the next thickest case be approximately?
