The case is beautiful and its great to add variety but the skinny CG throws me a bit off..The finish looks great for sure

I guess my baby wrist will have to wait a bit longer for its first rep

Really really like it.. I do like the thinner profile, as it slides under my cuffs easier!

Another reason to go gen again... the Chinese will NEVER get these slimlines right.

These releases have really gotten me excited about Panerai again. I love the brand, but most models are too big for my small wrist. My favorite is the 676 "Luminor Due 3 Days Acciaio". 42mm steel case with slim profile, black sunburst sandwich dial, vintage lume, exhibition case back...this checks a lot of boxes for me. I would be shocked if the factories get the correct slim profile. I'll be watching the upcoming rep releases very closely, may pull the trigger on this one. The GEN will go on my lottery bucket list!

I agree with you they are beauties, but the low thickness is maybe the most important feature of these nice watches
With a movement of 3,8mm we cannot speak about good reps
Just to be forgotten in our rep world...
....at this moment.... of course

Omg it's the panerai of my dreams! Thin for dress, with the 50's sexiness. If they 1:1 a case IDGAF what the movement is. I'm in.

I don't know what the insides of Panerai movements are like, but I have disassembled decorated AP movements. Rep factories managed to stuff them in an already tight case by essentially making the decoration a part of the movement bridge, so maybe something similar can be tried here.

The p.1000 looks like a very simple movement. The factory who made the p.3000 clone should have no problem to rep also the p.1000.

To get such a thickness of the case, it is not only problem of the microrotor but the overall thickness of the movement.
Rep movements are far from the necessary thickness at this moment.

So you're saying no??????? To even the 45mm

The rose gold automatic is incredible. I wonder how much the gen will be? I would love to see a rep of this but feel we will be waiting a while and be disappointed.

We already have a "decent" rep of the P1000. I got it in my PAM574 V6F. Note sure about the thickness though.
