Have to say I'm digging these -- cool dials and very sleek look. Now if the factories can get up to snuff on the micro-rotor!

Finally something nice after these 600 and 786 bs (that 661 isn't much better too). Cg looks a bit weird being so thin but I think these will be nice models, especially 42mm. Also that sunburst dial looks amazing. Fingers crossed for a rep of it, need a dress watch in my collection. :)

On a side note, is P.1000 already repped? Shouldn't be too hard to decorate 6497 to P.1000 right?

I don't like very much....My personal opinion.
I mean , Panerai watches are born for the army.
These models are very "jocks" , far from the historical models...:dry:
However , having the economic means to purchase a gen , would be a good solution for me when I wear classic. A suit and tie.:B:
Once every four years , but it is always a solution....Hehehehehehe..... :)

This is how i feel too...

I love the sunburst dial too... one of my favorite looks.

Would be great for a dress watch

I like these. That slim CG is indeed a bit weird from the side view, but it's a small price to pay for such a nice thin case set. I will surely try one if the factories can find a source for movements with micro rotore.

Great news! Then it will be out in few weeks for sure! If only they did that faux gear a bit more realistic, other than that it's decent enough.

I'm so glad now that I haven't got 512. :)

thats is awesome..really like it..it should wear nice on the wrist...but still keep that panerai feel...hopefully it will be repped

To get such a thickness of the case, it is not only problem of the microrotor but the overall thickness of the movement.
Rep movements are far from the necessary thickness at this moment.

They screwed us with the thickness of the watch.. doubt reps can get 1:1.. I am not a fan of the pewny cg..looks silly to me.. wish they made a thicker version 44mm luminous with this new case shape.

I was just going to post a thread about the new models but I see I am not the only one excited about these. I think they are an awesome blend of a Radiomir case and the 1950 case. I bet it will be a huge hit for us smaller wristed guys especially with that sunburst dial!
