If you are happy with it that's all that matters
I think gen crystal is a nice upgrade usually unsure if v3 clean needs it?
Someone needs to assemble an 'ultimate version'Just to take out the best of every factory, please correct me if I'm wrong: case BTF, crown and pushers BTF, bracelet and clap CF, bezel CF, dial CF, glass Noob, movement Noob (for better engravings).
So if a White Dial CF V3 is good stock, wouldn't a Black Dial CF V3 also be good stock? (other than the pushers that some don't like)For me, white 116500 BTF V2 or CF V3 are good stock, about black 116500 BTF with CF V3 dial and CF bezel is a good solution
I meant that in black it is necessary to put CF V3 dial, while in white both stock are good ;-)So if a White Dial CF V3 is good stock, wouldn't a Black Dial CF V3 also be good stock? (other than the pushers that some don't like)
Apparently CF black V3 is closest to gen OOTBSo if a White Dial CF V3 is good stock, wouldn't a Black Dial CF V3 also be good stock? (other than the pushers that some don't like)
The DangDong 4130 used in the CF/BTF Daytona's are generally considered to be the most robust Chrono movements around with failure rates around ~1% (which is on par if not better than stuff coming out of Switzerland). The low-end Daytona reps using Asian 7750's would be much more prone to failure but there is so much other stuff wrong with those reps using the 7750 (due to the size of the 7750 and all the case shape and height discrepencies it causes none would be NWBIG. These failure rates were provided by a TD on Reddit. When I first started learning about reps, I read somewhere that rep chronograph movements were more finicky/less reliable than typical A2824 or VS/VR 3135 movements, so I never bothered to even look at Daytonas.
I'm curious about actual reliability of the A4130 movements and rep Daytonas in general. Would people say they're as durable as other reps like the typical subs? (for general day to day wear)
The clean V3 and BTF both look real nice. Are Daytonas now considered NWBIG?

I think CF V3's (Black and Panda) are NWBIG IMO - I have both (but not Gen's). *Maybe* you swap a gen crystal if you want an extra 5% in clarity, but other than that a good service and an oil bath for the bracelet and it's as close to Gen as anyone in their right mind needs.
