Clasp varies on both gens and reps, anyways it is easy adjustment , you can make it looser or tighter for a clousure

If they get the case right and work on the bracelet this would be an almost perfect rep. If you hold it in your hands and feel the case you know it’s a rep. Same my ones for the bracelet. Doesn’t feel like a Daytona. And I have a few gen oyster bracelets with easy link. None are that hard to close.

Again, clasp clousure can be adjusted, easy link dont, but who cares about the feel of the easy link
If you want clasp clousure lighter or harder it is easy to adjust
It’s fine, I’m just saying that issue gives it away as being rep that’s all.
It’s a shame, but I guess they will manage that eventually. GMTs and Subs by CF must be great. There these cases should feel and look just right. All sharp edges on the gens anyway

I think giving the watch case a good polish would help. You wouldn’t do that to a gen watch but to smoothen out a bulky rep case - that could work

I wear all my daytonas on the CF Oysterflex (and the addtional CF end link pieces for the 116500's) and it's superb. Very comfortable and I love the look of them on Oysterflex.

At the beginning, both factories advertised the use of AR steel straps.
It depends on what flaws are you ok with. I like btf's crystal and case the most, while the dial looks better in the latest Cleans. But getting a custom dial from a chinese modder is not that hard, so btf is the choice for me. But its really subjective.
@steve_theonewatches when a comparison of CLEAN PANDA V3? compared to clean v2 or btf v2... we look forward to seeing you!

I put a gen Crystal on CF (V1) and it still has the azzure hue...
Lot of money invested to have a poor result.
I wonder what is an OK panda dial.
Black CF V3 is amazing, but for white I'm still not sure there is consensus on a good one.
Right now seems like the best is a good ARF V2...
Anyone can adress to a serious custom dial (maybe in DM if link here is not allowed).

I have the same problem with one link on the bracelet of my CF V3 panda, no luck getting the screw out. Fortunately I could make do without it as I have small wristsI received my CF black dial 116500LN from jtime today. I own the gen white dial which I don’t have here at the moment and I have to say - Even with a loupe i couldn’t tell this is a rep. And they must have fixed the hands, no more rust. They look perfectly clean. Only the bracelet isn’t perfect, on one side it’s impossible to remove a link. The screws don’t come out. But somehow the watch came with 11 links so it worked by taking out two on the working side. When I’m getting my gen panda back I’m opening it up, I’m worried now!

i have a BTF panda in hand and 1. it feels way better, more solid, more refined than a CF. 2. I can't see any defect but i'm not going around with a loupe
