Panda Daytona 116500 GEN VS NOOB, Clean V2, BT V2, Full comparison

Just ordered a CF Panda from Lucy and she said that the crystal is clearer in the latest version. The QC pics she sent me do show that is the case at least when I compared them to the other CF's in this thread.

Which company is Lucy at?? Jtime has 25% off right now - thinking of picking up a Clean Panda. Anyone know which version they sell??

This is my 2nd QC from HONT for a BTF Panda, first one rejected due to dial shift, and I am not sure whether the dial shift on this one is reason enough to red light or if its fine ...

I'm pretty happy with my BTF (latest) Panda 116500.... someone remarked that the Clean v1 Panda dial is superior. Would others agree? Would consider picking one up for a dial swap if so.

BTF has a great base, and the crystal is really good. You could swap a Clean v1/v2 panda dial in it if you get one, as the BTF dial is a little cold. Likewise, BTF base on the black model with a clean v3 dial with muted subdials.

Clean v1 I thought has a great dial but the blue aspect is related to the crystal tint... not the dial itself. Can anyone verify? I had read that clean v1 dial, by itself, may be the best Panda dial but I may have that wrong.

That is a negative ghost rider. Clean v1 crystal is grey, just like v2.

I think the v1 is really good? I dont see much big differences, even in the crystal. The print is slightly better on v3 though

I received my CF black dial 116500LN from jtime today. I own the gen white dial which I don’t have here at the moment and I have to say - Even with a loupe i couldn’t tell this is a rep. And they must have fixed the hands, no more rust. They look perfectly clean. Only the bracelet isn’t perfect, on one side it’s impossible to remove a link. The screws don’t come out. But somehow the watch came with 11 links so it worked by taking out two on the working side. When I’m getting my gen panda back I’m opening it up, I’m worried now!

Apply a little heat (preferably with a heat gun if you have one) and it will melt/loosen up the thread lock that is typically applied to the screws at the factory. Then use a proper sized screwdriver with no slop and the screws should come out much easier.

Thanks for the tip, I already scratched the hell out of the link, the screwdriver keeps slipping out because it’s too tight. Other side was no problem though. And I have to check why one link is missing, I counted them on my gens and the pcl bracelets all have 12 links. This one came with 11
