I already have all the conclusions, but so far there is no full-fledged post, but in order not to develop a field for fantasies:
Disadvantages:
- No roller on the CG lever.
- Lack of dots on initials in CB engraving
- Case for OP.I/II/X/XI models, in size and proportion.
- No 8 days PR
- Fish eye effect on the crystal.
- Insufficiently polished crown teeth.
- Dial fonts are thicker, appearing more pink than yellow in some lighting conditions.
- The color of the dial is brighter.
- Mediocre engraving depth
- Sandwich cutout a little wider, the sandwich itself probably a little deeper, and the edges are too rounded.
On the plus side, they've clearly gotten rid of the blue AR like they did a year ago.
The case requires additional analysis and is in progress.
Considering here is a list of noobs, which can only boast of not being so accurate, but still more acceptable (for some, because no one compared anything with gen)
Disadvantages:
- In general, the layout of the dial from PAM111, which is different from any 8 days, PAM510, for example. As we have seen for example with the first generation of 8 days models from KW/V6F.
- The numbers on the sandwich are not in the correct shape
- Dial fonts are different, also in accordance with PAM111.
- "PRE-V" arms, instead of "Modern"
- Uses the standard case for 6497 models, in appropriate proportion and design, instead of the thinner case of 8 days P.5000 models.
- Standard 6497 in OP.XI style inside, no P.5000 decoration (although the model has a solid caseback)
- Not the best crystal quality, in particular having a blue AR tint, which is completely absent on GEN.
- Not completely flat CP.
- No dots on AB initials
- Fisheye effect that shouldn't be on HW PAMs with manufactory movt.
- General shortcomings of NOOB products from this period, other than those I didn't mention above, such as poor CG pin, poor quality of CB engravings, poor screw rods, with a surface slot, and a rounded end on the thread side, and in general, far from being the best a good case, to proportions and shape, given what was done before, and I wrote about it in detail using the example of PAM390 here:
https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/panerai/9531941-pam390-noob-old- vs new
In general, given that many shortcomings are common, analysis in comparison of two incorrect cases is redundant, and even more so that the noob is no longer there, I would consider the HFW PAM911 the best for today.
Those who wish can argue.
