Well, it's a one-time inconvenience unless your wrist changes size frequently. :lol: And I've read people who've tried to do it themselves and not all of them are successful. There was a cracked link and a bent resizer pin in recent memory.

OMG..I don't know how to remove some cels on 438 bracelet, my wrist is only 6"...

I was just out shopping and put a gen PAM438 on my wrist for the first time...

Gave me a whole new appreciation for my rep!
The gen bracelet is lighter and almost feels a bit flimsy, plus the clasp wasn't as smooth operating as mine.
I'm in shock. Almost £11k more and yet, it was like I was wearing the one I have at home. Incredible.

Well I just received 438 QC photos from Marv a few days ago, and the minute hand is the short one.

Mentioned this to him and he asked me for an example of the longer minute hand.

ALE was very helpful and sent me some links which I have forwarded to MR.

We'll see how this shakes out, but I'm not spending $500 on a replica with a short minute hand when there are currently better versions out there.

you should also ask him to show you the datewheel at different positions like 15,25 etc cos there are some issues with these dates too as far as I know...(smaller 5 number in the double digit dates)

Marv has replied back after contacting the factory - short minute hand 438 is the only version currently available.

I was just wondering: 1) How is the quality (strength) of the crystal for the Pams? My bumble had a scratch on the crystal with limited usage and I was truly bummed. Has anyone experienced any noticable scratches, I'm on the fence with getting a Pam because of the added crystal diameter as well as the crystal being convex making is more prone to contact with objects. 2) Is there any way the seagull can be made to be a 12hr GMT (as per gen) instead of 24hr GMT? Not talking about mods, just talking about the Seagull movement in general, as I dont understand why they would choose to make it 24hr instead of 12hr. (sorry if this has been covered before)

I'm deciding between the Pam359 which seems like a no frills good 1st Pam rep or the Pam438 which is just too sexy!! I personally know that I will keep eying the 438 if I got the 359 but the fact that the GMT is not as per gen is what's holding me back.
