I have ordered the 253 with black leather/blue stitching which I am (not so) patiently waiting delivery!

Did you find a new strap for it?

to be honest, i am pretty satisfied with the rubber deployment strap. it is quite comfortable. but putting it on and having it off is quite a hassle. probably have to get used to it.

Yeah just takes some getting used to- my tag is rubber & deployment clasp so I went for leather on the pam
