What's the advantage of the ST2555 over the 7750? Aside from the balance wheel being more similar position to gen than the 7750 as the 569 is closed caseback, so I feel this point doesn't matter.

The advantage is the price and the seagull is also a very reliable movement.

Please tell me why the st2555 is a better movement, cost aside? The second hand on the 7750 is run directly off a gear (4th wheel). On the seagull version there are, by comparison, unnecessary gears/pinions.

ST2555 comes with sec @ 9 from factory. The upperside is very similar to the 7750. From ofrei:

I think seagull ST2555 is a low beat and the a7750 is high beat. Please correct me if I am wrong.

That's right but the second hand at a PAM is so small, it's really hard to notice the beat rate.

I am aware of that. But the 7750 is also a native sec@9. But on the 7750, the second hand is only three gears away from the mainspring. The seagull had an extra pinion and then another gear that the second hand is attached to. I just dont understand how having two extra transfers of power can be better or more reliable.
