Actually looking at it on something other than my phone and sure enough it is a V3 CG as Noob puts on the 111. Terrible to see that. Many of us have been harvesting the proper CG put on the 390 for a long time. Here is a 390 CG lifted off of one about a year old and used and abused with a gen crown as compared to a gen below it. 111V3 CG is hideous and always has been.

Another angle, 390 CG that is a year old on an 005 Build with gen crown vs full gen.
V3 Noob CG that has been on the 111 is a 20ft tell IMO, there is a little more to it than square corners.
Pam guys can spot that it has the required gen crown for making a decent build but how about that OH so sexy gen dial.
Anyways look at the lever angle as compared to OP's. Fastest way to spot a rep is to look for that for me. Now it seems the Noob 390 headed backwards.

Hi
Yes this is the last version
Only the angle of the roller support of the lever seems a bit open. But not very important
Case and Crown OK
Congrats

PAM 050 has a different Crown guard- No worries about that

Hi,

I got my noob PAM 390 QC today,
I am really ignorant when it comes to PAM but it seems that the crown guard pin sits too high.
Could you guys check? If its the case is it possible to fix this issue on my own or should I ask for another one?

Your not supposed to post qc's on this thread but oh well. The 390 is good, and crown guard is typical v3 with the wrong lever. Noob probably ran out of good ones for the past few months as most have been getting the wrong crown guard. I asked my TD to dig everywhere and he confirmed the best cg produced by Noob is no longer available.

However, the corners at the back of the cg is a little rounded.

I believe it is ok to post QC if it is regarding a specific concern.
In this case I thought it wasn't worth starting a new thread since it is relevant to this thread and most of the above posts are about noob using old stock for 390 crown guards.
If I reject this watch don not expect the next one to have the correct crown guard but I can live with it.
However, I would like to know if it is normal for the pin of the crown guard to stick out that much. It seems flush on the other I have seen.

Hi Ale,

If you would be kind enough to provide some insight and advice.

With regards to the PAM 390 noob version, is Sead the best person to go to?

Any other good dealers I should be looking at or speaking to?

You gotta read up on their reviews. Different people will get different experience. I'm using Sead and communications arent top notch but he gets the job done with good price too.

I've read the reviews and apparently noob has probably the best quality.

I'm very new to this, and I've just ordered a PAM441 from Sead. Currently waiting for it to arrive before I make a decision to order the PAM 390.

Im so lost to whats a perfect or bad CG. I know rounded edges on the inside are a NO GO. But my question is how can you tell the difference between NEW and OLD ? They all have the same shape and look.

I think that would be nice since we have no idea what Noob is brewing with their 390, especially with the mix of old and new parts. This might help members to get the correct version.
