PAM 390 Arrives!!! **** [ QC pics allowed ] *****

LOL... I never was interested in ANY pams before this forum. I have 3 now.

I passed on at least three 111s in the past month at excellent prices. Already have a 177, I think I'm holding out for a 390 or proper 183

Unfortunately i think Noob has messed up the latest 390 again. I spotted a few members getting their new 390s lately but all of them came with the wrong lever angle on the crown guard. However, i made an order with a TD and asked for the one with the correct lever. They sent me a pic (not my qc pic) that reassures my assumptions. Sadly, i have paid for it but i will hold on till i receive my qc pics. Pic below explains my ranting

Wow, it's so sunken in compared to the website pic on the left. Would you still hold out for a proper Noob version over the 2015 H-factory model?

I requested my TD to source for me the one with correct angle. If they cant find it, ill rather get the refund as ill be using the correct 390case for a personal build. New H-fact Pams are good but case wise, no no for me. However, their latest cases maybe better compared to the 111v3 according to Ale but imo, it depends on your luck since H-fact recycles their old and new parts together.

Agree. I believe I have the same issue on a recently bought PAM111.

pretty much given up with those small tiny details that no ones seems to know except fellow rep members and ADs.

i would get them because they just look so damn good.

hi, im buying a pam 390 noob from a Local TD as it's quite hard to get it from international TD in my country due to the taxes, custom, etc.
anyway i just want to make sure i purchased the "latest" version of noob 390 as Ale said it has quite a few improvement over the previos version,
here are the qc pic, so please advice is this the "latest" noob version ?

im asking because i really a beginner here and i have hard time to differenciate the differences between them.
the local TD has 2 version of the PAM 390.
the Noob version and the Kfac version
the price is more $50 more expensive for the noob version.
and after reading several thread here, and also seeing ALE's comment, i've decided to get the Noob version over the KFac version.
so i asked the local TD for the noob 390 QC pic and he send me those pics above.
i can't make sure wheter it's the Noob or Kfac by looking at the picture , so i asked here cause you guys are expert here

Dont take my word for it but from my observation, crown guard corners are terrible and the lever tip looks short, a typical kw trait. However, makers are going bonkers lately and using random parts for their watches so i cant be 100% positive.

The corners on above pic are correct, perfectly squared

When you have the QC pics send me a PM indicating this post
You will need pics from 6 or 12 and from 3 to see the lugs and the crown

Good job kampachi. NOT a small detail as many of us have been buying 390's from noob
for a very long time in order not to get OP's horrible v3 cg that comes on the 111. It is even possible that is an old h maker but I haven't been around a while. Noon has been putting on rep lands best cg and crown on the 390 for a long time and others like the 297. Sad to see so many posts including ale and your the only one to catch such a major and well known flaw as that bad lever angle.
