Any comments on the overall comfort on the wrist? Mainly concerned about watch being too top heavy. Say compared to an AP Diver in SS?

Thanks.

@ pukka: Did you order from Trusty / Andrew? Did you get it? Everything went fine?

I just emailed him and as soon as I know that it is in stock I'm gonna place my order.
The moment Trusty becomes a Trusted dealer will be the moment I realized the world itself is a replica

This forum has been there and done that. Won't happen again.
Didn't know he was on this forum in the past. Do know that it's not surprising he no longer is. Of course I only speak for myself on this matter due to personal experience with him.. (I've read the rules! Lol)

I opted for a 338 (completely different beast) and I don't regret it. But now all this talk of 388 makes me wanna buy one!

@Ale: I just bought the KW V2 A7750-version and its appearance is stunning. However, the colour of the date and the text font are more caramel brownish like the 1940 Radiomirs than off-white creamy as in historic PAMs. I can't see this on gen fora pics while the official Panerai pictures do seem to have this darker font. Does the gen 388 have this more brownish font/date colour in real life too?

I loved reading your extensive PAM-guide by the way :)

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm in the market for a KW Pam388 and from what I've read, the V2 with non-inverted Seagull ST2555 is the one to get for both gen-like appearance and best price.

My question is, I've noticed on other threads mention that the case backs on earlier models were thinner like gen, and on later models the case backs are thicker. Do any models with the non-inverted Seagull exist and are currently available with a thin case back like gen?

I cant really help you with this question, but maybe @mysterio can? Also, omg thank you so much for having a good worthwhile question where so many other noobs dont bother to read and just ask "who makes the best xxx". Much appreciated sir.

I'm curious why you still want this when there is a newer version. You didn't search hard enough?
