Any dust you see will most likely be on the outside. You can always ask to the TD to blow it off and take another picture.

I wouldn't get too worked up about it. Remember, this is a replica. It is also not the best version you can buy of this replica model. I have one and for $150 how can you go wrong? Your options are all very well suggested by folks here. Just wait till you get a DOA sometime then you'll really be ticked off [emoji23]. Anyway, I'd just live with it and not try to pass it off as a gen. Or get the closed caseback. Heck, it could even be fun to have something weird/ crazy engraved on it. Enjoy

Loosen display caseback, remove said caseback, put on new closed caseback, tighten said caseback.

So it just... screws on? Do you need a special tool for that?

I'm thinking of getting a Noob 372 and I like the closed caseback but I don't trust myself to do any delicate or difficult operations.

As a newbie the act of taking it off and on would literally involve duct tape. You can't really screw it up.
