May I seek your opinion on how do feel if this model is compared against the build and quality of Pam 164 below?

I feel the design of 359 dial look nicer but I prefer the strap and clasp of 164. Furthermore, it seem like the 164 come with a free wrist strap tool which is a bonus.

Lume brightness is important in my criteria but I am not sure which one has a better lume.

As a total package, I have difficulty to makeup my mind on which one to choose from these 2. Which one is more valuable?

Kindly advise.

EVALUATION: (*) FIRST CLASS REP (M-series) (with some restrictions due to inaccurate movement, see comments)
The PAM 359, introduced in 2010 M-series as a few interesting features and a not so common look. Not many Panerai watches have all the numbers on the dial, except for the 3 in this case because that's where the date window is. The dial is based in the PAM 164 dial.
The watch has a Polished SS 1950 44mm case with Polished SS bezel, display caseback, Black sandwich dial with gold hands, seconds sub-dial @9 and date @3 without cyclops
The gen PAM359 has a black sandwich dial that appears to have a nice brownish hue under certain light. The color of the Luminova is beige as opposed to the green Luminova that we are used to from most Panerai watches. Beige colored Luminova seems to be in vogue now as it's also used for the 2009 Special edition Egiziano PAM 341, the new composite Radiomir PAM 339 and the new "Lo Scienziato Radiomir Tourbillon" PAM 348 and PAM 350.
An interesting detail is that this watch has the first all polished 1950's style case followed by the PAM 372. All other watches with this type of 1950 case are brushed, usually in combination with a polished steel bezel. Examples are the PAM 233, 270, 127, 312, 320 and so on. The crown guard with its Reg.TM.engraving however is brushed.
It is powered by the new Panerai P.9000 “Manifattura” movement. This is an automatic movement with a power reserve of three days. Therefore, for the rep it is impossible to be close to the gen with a display caseback.
Although above mentioned issue we can consider the PAM 359 reps M-series as First Class rep (but please bear in mind if you are looking for a big accuracy)

PAM 359 with display caseback will not be never more accurate than PAM 164 with solid caseback, since the movement P.9000 which is fitted the 359 is not Asian copied.
Because the inaccurate movemnte dennounces immediately that the 359 is a rep. Despite this issue the PAM 359 is a First Class rep.
Currently the reps of PAM 164 from Noob and form H maker are considered to be upgraded to Super reps, because we don't have yet enough information about. But surely two or one of them will be upgraded in the near future.
Therefore, concerning accuracy and rep quality the PAM 164 rep is better than PAM 359.

In that case I will go ahead and get the 164 1st. If in near future there is an upgrade on 359, I will then get that or purchase a Gen one instead.
