I fear, it won´t be that easy. Afaik around 14mm are the limit to the VSF-P.9000-Clones - and this with the Luminor-Due-Case with a quite thin bezel/crystal. I doubt they will manage to a get a Submersible-Case thinner than around 15,5mm. That´s great for the thinner 47mm Submersibles like the 692, who are 15,25mm as Gen. But the newer P.9010 and P.900 44m watches from Panerai are going more in the 13mm+x direction, which is too slim for VSF. The Gen 1226 is only 13,2mm thick. Much too slim for the TTF 7750-solution, but also too slim for the VSF-P.9000-Clone. What we really need is a Clone of the P.9010 ... but that´s a very big wish ;-)

Nice review.
Sadly, until p900 and p9010 are cloned, there will be no pam reps coming close to NWBIG status or super rep.

VSF had a great run for a couple of years with the p9000 clone - the amount of Super reps 44 luminors and 47mm subs speaks for it.

However the p9000 is gone. And honestly imo the p900 shouldn't be that hard to clone. Richemont are known for mass producing movements and optimizing production for mass, so we're not talking some AP or Patek level of complications. It should be doable and economicaly viable to see a p900 clone.

First impressions ...

Pro:
- The bezel play is good and precise (since this is the first model from TTF with a bezel, this is a surprise) though a little too loud
- Beside the obvious flaws, it´s a very nice watch with my "sweet spot" 44mm diameter

Con:
- The watch is way too thick. Unfortunately my new caliper has still not arrived, I can´t give you a number. My educated guess is 17,5mm. "Fortunately" the thickness is mostly a product of the fat backside and on the arm it´s no too obvious, that the watch is too thick. It wears at least much much thinner than the 243.
- The caseback engravement is simply rubbish ;-)
- TTF again uses a fake quick change. In fact it´s a normal lug screw.

So this is again a medium rep from TTF. Not too bad, but far far away from the Rep-Quality former factories.

Thanks so much for these @JayBee0815 ! I've always loved PAMs and wanted a white dial for strap monstering. Been waiting for the more manageable 1223 to be repped but thanks to your pics I pulled the trigger on this 1226 instead despite its thicccness! Mary been kept busy 😁

just for fun: as the 44mm 1226 was not available up till now, I got a 47mm hommage from aliexpress or etsy (don't remember anymore) somewhen in summertime. It wasn't so bad overall for that price, but I really longed for the 44mm ;)

I just saw that TTF released the brothers and sisters of the 1226 as well:

PAM13991 Luna Rossa:

PAM1229 Quattro Bianco:

AND in addition, it comes only with the black rubber band instead of the Luna Rossa strap... :(

IMO HWF is overpriced for what they offer. A sign of the times. Two years ago this was the price for a VSF NWBIG sub.
charging nearly $400 for something that has so many obvious flaws is just a rip off. The difference in thickness is huge, crown, strap … come on… that’s a $220 rep
