Yeah I see it now. It is a bit green/yellow. But this seems like something that will only be visible in certain lighting conditions. The fact that the dial's white doesn't help.
But this doesn't personally bother me at least. I am worried about the thickness.
I don't care about the leash because you can put gen.
The most important thing for me, apart from the thickness that we already know is thicker, I prioritize the dial, the bezel, noise, etc.

Just arrived at my doorstep, SBF PAM 1226. It’s definitely a nice piece, but like any rep it’s not perfect. Initial observations in no particular order:@RYenZero Could you tell us more about this piece once you get it? I am really wondering if we have P.9000 or A7750 in there. And the thickness. I'm also super-close to ordering this but I just wanna know these details beforehand. Cheers
Crystal: SBF Rep uses the horrid fisheye crystal on their Submersibles. SBF/VSF really need to step up their game here and start using better crystals. I’ve already reached out to Prof for a replacement.
Dial date window: SBF Rep has a rabbet (aka “rebate” for folks in UK) edge. Gen has a chamfered edge, which looks a lot cleaner
Thickness: SBF Rep measures in at 15.8mm thick. I haven’t found actual spec for gen. Hoping someone might be able to share.
Weight: SBF Rep weighs in at 160g whereas the gen weighs in at 144.5g.
Rubber Strap: SBF Rep strap color is slightly off from Gen, as you can see from the comparison photo. For me that’s not much of an issue as I generally purchase gen straps for my Panerai reps.
Movement: SBF rep appears to use P9000, though it’s marked P900. (I’m not an expert on the P-series clone movements, so I’ll have to defer to the experts here.)
Bezel: Quality appears good, but it’s a little rough turning. Not a big deal, I’ll clean and apply some Fomblin UT18 when I replace the crystal.
Again, these are my initial observations. But feel free to ask any questions you might have.

It looks superb! Also I thought that the strap color difference would be more obvious. But it is not at all. If the strap quality is decent, I think a switch to gen won't be necessary.
But thickness is worrisome. That's almost 16mm compared to gen's what - 13? Could you share some side pictures? Also when you put it on and compare with pictures of gen on wrist - how does it look to you? Is it comparable or is the thickness obvious?

As for the movement - I can't identify them based on the picture. But clone P.9000 will have jumping hour hand on 2nd position and no quickset date. Caliber P.900 should behave like any standard ETA or 7750 - it will have quickset date on position 2 and it won't have the fancy jumping hour hand. Since this is SBF/VSF release I assume it will have the clone P.9000 even though any ETA clone would be closer to gen in terms of the behavior. They could possibly even solve the thickness problem with a different movement, but I'm not sure about that. It is clear that clone movements are taking over.

Regarding indices' (and hands') lume...gen photos seem to indicate differs greatly with lighting (along with strap color!)...from whiter than dial color (above pic --from for sale ad at rolex watch forum) to a greenish tint very similar to SBF photos (below pic, from one for sale at chrono24):
In viewing gen videos, does appear the major flaw of the SBF 1226 is the green lume (sigh)... in all lighting, indoor and outdoor the Gen lume is a brilliant white color (even whiter than the dial). Hopefully a version II will fix this..:
Yes. It's the well known P9000 Clone used in all VSF/SBF reps.
As mentioned above p9000 and p9010 have identical functions - jumping hour hand and also the same diamter - 37.8 mm
p900 is smaler in diamter at 30 mm and much thinner at 4,2mm. The P9000 clone used here is 7,9mm thick. Hence the additional 2 mm thickness of the rep. Also as mentioned - p900 has a quick date set instead of jumping hour hand.
