Not being a fan of carbotech's patterns,

Ill tell you 1 thing, almost every time I wear a Carbotech, I'm surprised and amazed by something.

Whether it's the way the layers glow in the sunlight or sparkle, or come to life in direct light. Or maybe just how it seems to have this depth to it because of the way its layered.

I agree that the all Carbotech submersible might be a little too much Carbotech but the 44mm (like the 1661) was perfect. Thinner and sleek.

And when I say these positive things about the Carbotech, keep in mind that they're all subtle little things. It's not anything that overpowers the watch by any means.

Hazing I hear you, good description. I've never seen one IRL but therefore interested in seeing one live to make my mind up.

How are rep Carbotech's compare to gens? I mean such technology may be hard to rep at high standards.

Carbotech looks great with anthracite stingray strap, as usual

Looks very nice, these new models definitely make a kind of watch apart.
I don't know if I can wear so much lume, but I want to try this.

Geez, some wise guy posts the rep on the Risti social media. People are now wondering about the lack of release information as well as the missing lume on the strap.

This happened to me, I put a strap onto my 979 without taking out the metal tubes and now I’m stuck... I can’t get the strap off no matter what I try. There’s just not enough room to compress the spring bar. Has this happened to anyone else?

That may be the case but the thread on the gen strap is positively glowing as can be seen on pictures. It probably would have been better to use another strap on the watch and just say you didn't find the strap to your liking or some other reason.

The lume strap on photos of a gen can be manipulated one (no real photos of the watch, just marketing stuff). I have tried to cover/massage in blue luminova into a thread and it glows until used to stitch something - luminova just goes off the thread and what is left - is just of weak luminance. Personally this rep strap is just too short for me so I wear the watch on stingray strap.

Yeah I did it. Hit me up and I'll tell you how I got the strap off.

QUESTION!
Can anyone tell me what's exciting on this
''Oh we have no design ideas ok let's put lume everywhere'' watches??
And if lume everywhere why not on the date wheel?
Sorry, but for me it looks like a childrens FUN WATCH from walmart!
But as always
''Dē gustibus nōn est disputandum''
So enjoy

Well - could say the same about many incremental updates. Sometimes a small change makes a big impact though. Good summer watch with that splash of colour perhaps?

They decided against it because they felt it was a step too far.
