My QC on the 1118

Looks great to my mostly untrained eye. Does anyone else notice anything off? Would love to see a video as well. Really tempted to pull the trigger on one.

The thread looks luminous here. Although I'm sure it's not all that strong. I have luminous centerlines on a few MN straps and they're really.... Weak. The lume.

Unfortunately, although the thread might be luminous, under normal light, people in the know will sure pick up on the non-genuine look of the thread. It depends on how much you care about accuracy or how much you care about how the people around you perceive you.
Absolutely. It is after all, still a rep strap and in the end it’s probably never going to see the light of day. Or, that is... I haven’t ever seen a rep strap worth wearing. I’d be surprised if this is suddenly the one.

Sun burst looks good! How's the strap?
Just a word of advice - the watch comes with additional black leather strap with a black buckle. It contains METAL TUBES at its ends so you need to REMOVE them before you consider installing this strap on your new 1118. Otherwise these metal tubes will prevent easy strap removal because there will be no gap between strap and lugs and when you put a flat blade or a flat screwdriver in there - you won’t be able to squeeze the strap enough to remove the spring bar...

Is it odd that the spring bar pin holes are not connected in any way to the purely cosmetic hole (actually just a divot) on the outside of the lugs? If it were you could use a pin tool to compress the spring bars.
Strange and suprisingly welcomed experience.
