Looks great to my mostly untrained eye. Does anyone else notice anything off? Would love to see a video as well. Really tempted to pull the trigger on one.

The thread on the rep strap is not luminous, not to mention the strap looks rigid AF (maybe it will become more supple after some wear). But the biggest tell of that watch is that if you wear that in public, there would be a few Risti who would recognize it as a replica simply because the gen is not out yet (AFAIK).

The thread looks luminous here. Although I'm sure it's not all that strong. I have luminous centerlines on a few MN straps and they're really.... Weak. The lume.

Unfortunately, although the thread might be luminous, under normal light, people in the know will sure pick up on the non-genuine look of the thread. It depends on how much you care about accuracy or how much you care about how the people around you perceive you.

Absolutely. It is after all, still a rep strap and in the end it’s probably never going to see the light of day. Or, that is... I haven’t ever seen a rep strap worth wearing. I’d be surprised if this is suddenly the one.

The assolutamente is pretty nice. At least the ones I've tried. As well as the rubber straps, even though I prefer leather straps over rubber ones. But the other calf ones are like wearing cardboard strips.

Just a word of advice - the watch comes with additional black leather strap with a black buckle. It contains METAL TUBES at its ends so you need to REMOVE them before you consider installing this strap on your new 1118. Otherwise these metal tubes will prevent easy strap removal because there will be no gap between strap and lugs and when you put a flat blade or a flat screwdriver in there - you won’t be able to squeeze the strap enough to remove the spring bar...

Is it odd that the spring bar pin holes are not connected in any way to the purely cosmetic hole (actually just a divot) on the outside of the lugs? If it were you could use a pin tool to compress the spring bars.

Cannot stress this enough.

It is very annoying to realise this mistake if you ever make it, as I'm sure some of us have, albeit not on this particular Pam.

I can't wait for mine. It's been shipped but waiting is always the hardest part.

Actually, it's only been a few days and it's already been picked up by the varrier which is an awesome sign.

This is another spring bar model?

I've seen this happen before and put on a kain heritage strap on my 1616 with tubes. It was a bitch to get off. But on my 1661, the strap that came with it had tubes but they were shorter so thay you codhet the spring bar removal tool in there

Really? Interesting. Because on all of ours the hole goes right through. You can just push the spring bar out easily.

Lol just kidding. It's like that one every model with spring bars that I've seen.

I have been wearing this watch for about 4 days now. I bought it to "have it" knowing it's a "Tron watch" and so on... suddenly the watch becomes my favourite one since focusing on lume by design delivered a watch that is totally focused on telling the time. It is delivering an exceptional ease of reading the time. Just a glance and all your brain sees is ..time. Probably that light green, I don't know.. maybe our eyes are seeing more of some light wavelengths than we realise....This was an unexpected effect, making other watches more demanding in use. After simplicity in design there is simplicity of delivering on the purpose of having a watch - ability to easy read the time. When wearing the watch you hardly see anything else than time. You need to refocus yourself to see watch details, case and so on. Strange and suprisingly welcomed experience.

Interesting indeed. I must confess that beyond the first suspicious feeling regarding the "tron" thing, I'm more and more into trying one of those.
Not being a fan of carbotech's patterns, I can't wait to see the titanium 1117 version repped (don't think factories will rep the 1119 Fibratech won't they?), the mix of deep mat titanium and fat lined lume looks quite nice on pics, want to see that live.
