When I compare my 111 to the Rolex classic sub, it is massive. So I understand a 243 would be a huge step.
I can really recommend the 111, also had a 299 in the past. Basic Panerai as well.

I thought 111 and 243 cases were basically the same size? At least the width.

It's a 44mm case like the 112 however it's the 19 50's cushion pillow case and is much thicker

Here is mine, I got it yesterday. Great watch and everything looks OK.

I used an app on my phone to measure the timekeeping. It turned out to be 163 seconds a day too fast!

So what is did is unscrew the case back and adjust the hand that are attached to the balance wheel while watching an instruction video on YouTube.
I put the watch on top of the microphone from my headset to keep track of how many seconds a day the movement was off.
Now it is running +2,7 seconds.

Real happy with the result.

Can't quite tell from that pic... is the midcase polished or brushed?

That's looks the dogs bollocks Dennis.

Although, I wouldn't be too confident in mucking about with it as you described, lacking knowledge, I'd need a PAM surgeon.

I've went with the rubber strap then plan to buy a quality 3rd party leather strap, love the look of Toshi Straps in U.K.

How long did you wait for delivery?

Unsure if you're permitted to state the TD you ordered from?

Regards,

Kyle

Just checked it again. Still running +3 seconds a day. Normally I don't really touch the movements myself. But the guide I found made it look real easy.
Here is a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JTJAZ6FUGk&t=628s

I also got it on rubber, the rep asso straps are not so good. Delivery took about 2 weeks.
Just ordered a hand made leather strap as well.

Very nice. Going to pull the trigger myself. Which TD did you go with? I'm considering Chazingtime. Only see the brown strap on there though.

I received my 111 the day before Festivus. I can say that so far i´m impressed. It´s a hefty piece and wears just fine.
Initially I was worried that it would look too large on my twig thin wrist, but no.

On another note, it´s interesting, that after days of poring over hi res images, scrutinizing details looking for tells/flaws, I was taken a back when i finally had it in my hand. All the things that were very visible on the images became trivial and almost unnoticeable on the actual watch. You would need zoom eyes (and for me to stop gesticulating) to be able to spot them on the wrist.

Now i must go strap hunting...

Yeah but it's pretty thick right? Honestly I'm just not into the look of the submersible right now. I like the luminor or radiomir, nice and clean.

My tastes may change though

My taste has changed. The only Pam rep I have is a 390 and i still love it. Clean, simple, beautiful. When I bought it a year or so ago, maybe more, I wouldn't have considered the submersible. But now I have a h-fac 243j on the way and I canNOT wait.

Hello guys,

my first post here! From SF. I have a collection of both reps and gens. I just received my noob v4 Pam 111, the watch looks gorgeous, but it will not function.

i wind it all the way till the click stopped, and nothing happens? If I wind all the way till I can't wind any more, and turn it little more and clamp it down there with the clamp , the movement then moves and watch works for maybe half a minute then stops again?

any possible help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you!!

It seems to get stuck at the same exact spot on the seconds dial.

I ordered this Pam 111 one a few weeks ago and it just came in last week. Just now getting to posting pics. I was told by my TD that it was latest Noob V4, but from what I understand that is sort of a misnomer (maybe no such thing as a true V4 yet) Wondering if those in the know (Ale and others) might chime in as to what this one actually is and what is what. I can post more pics as needed. Let me know.
Thanks

Did I do ok on the pics?

Crown and lever V3
Crystal V4
The case is a very very nice transition model between V3 and V4. It is not actully a true V4 but its very close and one of the best I have seen from V3 base (much better than an old V3)
It is not easy to get better at this moment

So after having lusted after a 000 I first bought a 112 when no 000's were available but sold it on but have still lusted over that 000 but again no decent versions available so I relented and bought a 111.

Just received it and bought both rubber and asso and currently loving it on asso.

Sold to me as a V4 but no idea of what version or what mix of versions it really is but I love it anyway so not too concerened but would like to know for interest sake so if anyone can tell me and theire is not too sick of detailing these watches I'd love to know what I have here just for knowledge sake.

Hope my bad pics are clear enough.
