Shine watch (Sora) got this wholesale price for watches, you don't get QC pics but he does check them for you. I think you can't go wrong with a simple watch like an PAM. About the TD's you are totally right.

I managed to read the informative PAM stickies and just ordered a v4 from Intime. Just waiting for payment to clear so i can get my QC pictures.

Sorry, I made some extra pictures, hope there will be a real V4 by this time.

It is a false V4 with a nice and clean V3 case (not as "bad" as a typical V3). Maybe a transition caseset from V3 to V4
Crown is a clear V3
Crystal V4

My QC pictures came in a little early. They´re a little low resolution but I don´t see anything that would merit my having to say no to it.

I can´t tell if this is a hybrid of Noob V3/V4. Would anyone be so kind as to help identify?

I also asked them to send a lume picture before i give the ok.

The angle of the pics is a bit forced and I cannot see appropriately the lug insertion
But, if not a real V4, it is a very good and very evolved V3. Anyway good enough
I cannot see the crystal
The crown is fat V3

I´ve compared it to the gen and the other Noobs and it seemed fine but i don´t have the eye to tell the cases apart. I´m just waiting on lume pictures from the TD.

I just got my QC pics for my V4 but I'm not sure if this is what I should expect. Fat crown and scratches(?) on the upper right lug. On the other hand, the CG, the hands and the movement looks good. What do you think? This is my first rep so any advise is appreciated.

That looks more like a defect than a scratch, seriously. Scratches you can still fix, but a casting defect, better ask for a different unit.

I'd ask them if it will clean off and resend the QA pics. It's hard to tell if it's a defect or finger prints and skin oil. Something that obvious I would like to think that the TD would not even send out QA pics.

My Noob "v4" PAM 111 has stopped running, the micro adjustment screw appears to have fallen out so presumably that's jammed in somewhere.

How hosed is it likely to be? Any tips? My first rep and I haven't tried for a local watch smith yet.

It's a shame as I love the watch and it's been keeping excellent time up until this.
