PAM 111 Noob V3->V4, KW–V6Fac & H maker - (**QC pics checking**)

PAM 111 is an iconic PAM rep and many people are asking for QC pics advice and for identification of the versions.

This is a thread (thanks to mysterio’s suggestion) started to check the QC pics from buyers of PAM 111 reps and avoid the dispersion of the info in several threads.

QC pics are allowed and welcome on this thread and we will try to attend every consult

We hope you like it and find it useful

NECESSARY PICS TO TELL THE VERSION

This is the best pic angle (from 12 hrs.) to tell a case version
PICS%20FROM%206%20OR%2012%20HRS%20copiar_zps9kg0ujik.jpg

The best angle to tell the case version is from 12 or 6 hrs and as flat as possible. If you take the pic from a higher plane (more inclined) we will lose the correct vision of the upper part of the lugs in relation to the mid case cushion edge. Below the limit of the angle to tell the case appropriately. Pics taken from higher angle will not be valid

Below the limit pic angle (from 4-5 hrs) to tell the case version
PICS%20LIMIT%20FROM%204-5%20HRS%20copiar_zps7slbxkej.jpg

This is the necessary pic angle (from3 hrs.) to tell the crown version. And sometimes to get more info about the lugs shape and case version[/COLOR][/B]
PICS%20FROM%203%20HRS%20copiar_zpsflw1yxnc.jpg

VERY IMPORTANT
PICS FROM 3 hrs. (to see the Crown and lug shape) AND FROM 6 OR 12 hrs.( to see the upper part of the lugs joining the case) ARE COMPULSORY

Thanks for your understanding

I have closed the threads about PAM 111 consults in order to join in the same thread all info and consults. You can also consult the main thread about this matter:

Seeing as how the other thread was closed to keep all QC pics and consults in one easy to find thread, I figured I'd repost my QC pic consult request for @ALE7575 from the other day here. Thanks in advance:

Hello @ALE7575

If at all possible, I would like to jump on the "what version of 111 do I have?" band wagon and put your expertise to work. If you have the time would you please look at these QC pics and let me know your thoughts? The only thing that my untrained eye can see is that it doesn't appear to have the sandwich dial. Surely this can't be the case but I am awaiting additional pics to confirm. Until then, what do you think about this one? Thanks in advance.

Without pics from 6 or 12 hrs and the forced angle of the pics form 9 and 3 hrs. it is really difficult to tell the version
Anyway I see:
Crown and CG lever V3
Crystal V4
Movement with Y shaped rep Incabloc and not very good engraving OP
Case seems a V3, but I cannot see the upper part of the lugs to confirm
It would be a typical false V4
We cannot say about the dial, because we would need a more angled pic to see the cutouts

thanks for the new thread and, as always, thanks for the time and input to us guys. Would be great if you could provide some feedback on these QC's:

A typical false V4 (V3 case)
The OP engraving is good enough
The CG lever is raised from the CG body

Thank you sir! Is there any part of the watch that is V4? Since I've ordered and paid for a V4, if this is a complete V3 then I'm being 'mis-sold'.

Need to consider whether I should reject the QC.

Thanks.

False V4 was at the beginning a V3 with a rep movement fitted with Yshaped rep Incabloc and many times with bad OP engravings

Your watches are false V4 with acceptable OP engravings

Pics from 3,9,6,12 hrs would be welcome to see possible flaws or qualities. Maybe the lug holes are higher than gen and case edges sharper than gen, but pics don¡t allow to see all that.
As usually the CG lever shape is correct in KW
Flatter CG pin than gen
Bezel very well finished but with sharper transition edges

Anyway very nice version to be considered at this moment

Can anybody lend a hand to a newcomer with these QC photos? I have higlighted my concern, some black marks between the case and the bezel around 9 o'clock. The TD has provided close-up of the area after I pointed this out, but I cannot determine if the problem is not exactly between the case and the bezel.

I have a hard time evaluating the back and the engravings, so some help would be greatly appreciated. Hope I have not missed anything else - that is my first order.

Hi Guys -

I just got my QC pics in for this H Factory Pam 111 rep. Is it my imagination or is the finish a little screwy on the right side for the back of the watch.
It could just be the lighting, but I'd love it if eyes better than mine could provide a second opinion!

If anything pops out would appreciate any insight!
I`m still getting used to picking out flaws.

Since this is on sale I can live with a few minor things here and there -

Appreciate the input!

Still waiting for an answer from the TD. Any idea if the letters are balder than they should be? I think they are.
It does look thicker than on mine. However, it does not look like the others that are too thick.

Edit: on second thought it looks about right. I just checked my 111 and snapped a quick image, they look about the same. Not engraved and not too thick.

Hi guys - so does this look like dirt? Or if it's a defect in polishing is it easily remedied?

(The finish on the left and right sides of the back of the watch seem dull, or dirty?)

Mate, that are just lighting refractions. But tbh, if you and several others in this thread are so concerned about eventual smudges or dirt on a watch that clearly is fake and around 150-200 bucks, i would (for your peace of mind) suggest, going for the real deal instead of fake watches. You will most likely not have to deal with such happenings... (for around 25-30 times the amount of course). Otherwise, just take it, clean it on arrival and wear it for what it is...a copy of an iconic watch.
