Well that's the end of that - after I had already paid for the watch apparently the version they are doing now is Miyota 9015 based so none of the sub dials or chrono will work and i will also need to send an extra £30 for it. No thanks, I'll be asking for a refund, would have been nice to have been told before sending the money for it but there we go!

Have you checked with other Trusted Dealers?
I purchased mine from Marvellous Replica a few months ago.

Hi, i purchased this same watch (but in black) from WS around the same time as you. I got the QC pics yesterday (and approved) - they didn't mention anything about a change in movement.

Ok I was in a bad mood yesterday due to other things and I've had a reply about it today. Apparently with the 9015 version the subdials still function (somehow - at least the second hand anyway) but not the big chrono hand - with the reliability of the 9015 vs the 7750 I'm sort of considering it but not without seeing any photos and I don't fancy paying more for it with a cheaper movement.

They also said they can't supply the 7750 version at the moment, but that it'll return soon, they just don't know when. Sead said he could get the 7750 version but don't know if he would have the same issues when he tried to order it.

With a non-functioning large chrono hand I would wait for the 7750s to come back in stock.

I'd be inclined to agree with you but would possibly still consider it if the sub dial spacing is better, the movement deco is the same standard and everything else is just as good. Can't play with the chrono on an A7750 anyway and I would if it had one lol

I am however considering asking for a refund for now (or picking a different watch...) just on the basis that I don't think I'd be able to see any pics of the 9015 version until I paid the extra and waited for QC

Hmm thanks. TBH it just sounds like the silver 7750 is out of stock rather than discontinued or anything so I wonder if I should just wait for it

Just had an email from TD billing department (last one was from sales) saying money received and watch ordered - nothing about it being more expensive or a different movement

Either Billing haven't got the message about it being out of stock yet or there was a miscommunication in the first place and the 7750 one is available after all...

Edit: so according to Billing the watch is ordered (at the price I paid originally) but according to Sales it's out of stock and there aren't any pictures of the 9015 version so who knows what's going to come up in the QC if it ever does..?

Strap size is 20/18 mm.
I had one of the Vietnamese strapmakers craft this for me.
Very nice, smooth, supple alligator hide.

That looks great, can't decide between that and WSO now. Just got the QC pics with a 7750 in them so must have beens some kind of mix up. Watch looks awesome and the Tag logo is a little crooked but not as much as in the other photos

Waiting anxiously for this now, been in transit since 2nd, hope it gets here OK!

Wondeirng if it might look good on a dark red coloured strap like this one (maybe with black or matching stitching)?

Can't get the damn picture to work but it's dark red anyway

Crap, wish you'd not said that about customs, mine's still showing up as in transit after 8 days... All my other TD orders have come in 4 days after they were posted, I think I've lost this one :( I damn knew it the first one I take the risk on and it's the first one that gets seized/lost!

EMS for me. Still says its in transit, nothing about it even reaching this country so I'm guessing it's either lost or sat in customs and they just haven't scanned it.

I might have known this would be the first time anything would go wrong in 5 smooth transactions, the only one the TD won't replace!

EMS for me too. I don't think it will be seized though. I assume WS put the actual value on it. Anything over £20 will incur a charge.

Hmm fair enough. I think it's just too risky doing it this way even in the UK. I wonder what the outcome of yours will be. I would have thought marking the actual value was a no-no to avoid attracting the attention of customs

Strange that it has just vanished after the 2nd tracking update with nothing about customs or anything
