Not being picky like but the 8500 movement isn't correct for the 300mc standard or Spectre it should be the 8400.
i guess its probably the same movement but in terms of tells it gives the game away ! Nice piece tho, love my gen 300mc standard a true keeper !

Hi could any owners of the watch comment on the stuttering of the seconds hand? How bad/noticeable is it?
Ever since I saw the watch on Spectre I always wanted one but the infamous stuttering is the only thing putting me off it.

If any owner could chime in about how noticeable it is would be great!

Cheers :)

When I owned it it was only noticeable when i snapped my wrist, not during normal use.

I've had mine for a few months and have never noticed the stuttering once. The oft-noted rotor noise is also very minor in my experience. Perhaps I got a quiet one?

In any case, it's been stellar. Got mine from PT?

Hoping that they would do that too. That would be an excellent choice for a V3 Spectre then.

1st post here! I registered and ordered from Intime a Spectre on the strength of this thread and the review on wrist time.

Have any owners had experience of how the bezel has worn? I have never owned a high end replica, the last I bought was a £90 B&R which had a nice case but not much else. I read on a few other threads that replica ceramic bezels tend to be painted and then clear coated to prevent fading.

Does anyone know how to access the crystal from the inside? I assume I need to take the bezel off, will the crystal just pop off? And can I just push back in place with no tools?

I dropped the watch yesterday (on the carpet thankfully) but it looks like something stuck to the inside of the crystal (some lume maybe, beside the 3 position).

If anyone knows how to remove the crystal, that would be great!

Go from behind. Remove the rear end and remove the movement with the dial to access the crystal. It can be tricky and if you're unsure any watch maker will be able to perform that service for you

Good luck

I just received my Phenome NATO in 22mm, and I am impressed with the quality! Maybe not quite gen, but for less than 1/4 of the price it easily beats any other aftermarket NATO. I took photos comparing the Phenome, InTime, and Pheonix straps:

I've had mine since February ---when it arrived, I noticed a bit of hesitation around 18-25 mark then it 'drops' rest of the way when held vertical & noisy rotor. ( but who holds it vertical while they wait for it to reach 18 second mark?) Like has been mentioned---if you give your wrist a quick shake/twist and look at the watch , the second hand 'freezes' momentarily --then resumes.

When its on your wrist ---you can't perceive any stutter and no one has noticed any stutter when they've looked at it, I suspect it 'wears in' after use ---as after around the 4 months of wearing every day ---the mild stutter and drop ceased--it will still momentarily 'stop' when shaken hard, then resume. Silenced the noisy rotor by removing case back, unscrewed rotor and dropping a toothpick tip of Moebius oil on the bearings....quiet and moves VERY freely now.

Its a great replica and SO VERY close to the gen -- just put a genuine strap on and it brings it to another level visually. You won't be disappointed if you buy one.
