Well, it's what it should be now. I kinda like the NATO with a bit of space on it. If you watch GOldfinger, with Sean Connery and his Rolex, you'll see in the original film, the strap is much smaller than the lug width!

Dang that's crazy! The gap is pretty apparent. I wonder why the TD changed it - maybe for the bracelet? Anyways I got one coming with a bracelet this week I'll test this theory out

I'm still looking for a gen Spectre strap that doesn't cost more than the rep itself. No luck yet :(

The dial is a matte black; the blue you're seeing in the photos is likely the AR coating on the crystal.

but Omega NATO comes in 19, 20, 21 and 22, I do believe that the 22mm is in really 21.5mm and the fit will be perfect, but what about de 21 mm, Does someone knows?

Hi all,

I'm happy to announce that I purchased the V2 from Intime over the weekend and awaiting QC pics! Almost as exciting as awaiting my son's arrival last year! Once I receive the QC pics, I will study them, but if I have any questions, may I post them here, or would a separate thread be better?

Thanks!

Hello,
since i got both straps, i try to help as best i can.
so ilaied both over eachother and measured them.

on top is the spectre strap (part# CWZ003210)
bottom is the normal strap (part# ZSZ00203468)

5k0O6NK.jpg

i hope you can see that its only marginally ( 1-2 nylon wavelines) wider than the spectre strap which i think could be due to manufacturing process/different batches.
both fit the gen watch perfectly. i know the pic can't caputure it quite good but try to look at the upper part of the pic and you see the difference.

the normal strap is ~21,5mm

edit:
my invoice also show this part number: O0ZSZ00203468 and its labeld as 21.5mm NATO
you also can see it in this thread in the comparsion picture
https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/281465-Seamaster-300-Spectre-SPC300

with this part# you should get the right one.

i hope this help you guys and just ask anything if you have further questions ;)

Hi all, new guy here and haven't read most of the 130+ pages on this thread so please forgive if any of this has been answered previously....

I've been looking into this watch recently and have a couple of questions for the pros here at RWI;

1) I've seen two of these IRL and examined them. Both had a dealbreaking problem; the lume plate under the dial (which is how the GEN is made as I understand it) was not closely secured to the underside of the dial... as if you could slip a feeler gauge between the bottom of the dial and top of the lume underlay... which created shadows and obvious distance between the 2 components. I have never held a GEN so I don't know how this compares but I can't imagine the GENs look like that do they? Do ALL of the reps have this issue or just a few from whatever bad QC batch?

2) Who all is making this rep now? Just V6 or Noob also?

3) I have a TD offering this to me at a discount if I buy 2 ($200 flat each). I've seen these sell used for more than this, should I be suspicious?

Thanks in advance for anyone with help / advice for the new guy, and to the angry forumfreaks with "do a search noob!!" permanently saved to the clipboard, thanks anyway...

Hey, I am definitely interested. Right now, I am on the phone so I can't find the post you made about the strap (I mean the post in this thread) - if it would fit my 21.3 mm lug well, I would love to buy it from you (since you are from the Netherlands and I am from Slovakia, the shipping should be swift and neat :) ). Please contact me via PM, many thanks

Just an update for anyone still looking for a strap... It looks like Timefactors has finally added the "Bond" pattern to their range of "De-luxe" NATO straps.

AXSMDey.jpg

This may be the "killer mod" for the V2 Spectre. About 80% the look and feel of the gen Omega strap for 1/10 of the cost. I own several of these straps in other colors and they definitely have the "seatbelt texture" look and feel of the gen strap. Tons of people on Gen forums have been ordering them to go with their gen Omegas. However, in my experience they're pretty stiff and do require some break in unlike the gen Omega which is buttery smooth right out of the gate. The hardware is obviously sterile, both keepers are fixed, and the buckle is larger, but it is brushed (like the gen Spectre NATO).

Unfortunately only available in 20mm or 22mm, so you either have a slight gap (Connery-style) or a little tight, depending on your preference.
