Hey,
Did you ask to Bivintage if he still have case in stock ? I thought that he had cases for Blancpain and Omega ( except speed )

I have not yet. i will ask now

I am currently thinking that the san martin homage is a good option too, after swapping the crown

so Bi answered 500, custom order, fits original omega movement

at this point the SanMartin is the best budget option

the second best option is to heavily rework this Pagani

Yeah I was expecting a lot worse from bivintage. Time to start looking for a an Omega cal 284/285/286 🤷‍♂️

Edit: looks like they're around $400 now jeez. Could probably look for one of the less popular Seamaster 30s in 34mm and just yank it out. Shame about stripping a functional old watch though.

Yah they have shot up in price. I have not compared but can a eta be used in its place instead?

Maybe a vintage ETA 2500, the 29mm no date version with a spacer. The 286 is 18000 VPH so need something like that.

that said, I just saved 300€ using the skills I learned here.

the watchmaker was asking 250€+1h paid work for a fucxing eta quartz 900.001 to replace in my wife old B&M gen...

A cousinsUK order (19€ inc tax) and 1h later, she now has a fully functional and cleaned watch. Yeah, I just worked on a 4figures worth gen

I am still shocked by the money that guy asked me 😳
