I bit the bullet. I ordered the omega nato. (Not spectre)
The time factors one is too shiny and the phenominato is slightly off colour and also a really long wait to get. By the time I keep buying other nato straps that I won't be happy with it figured I may as well get the omega one. The spectre strap cost was around £180 without the buckle (£59 for the buckle) but the non spectre one was £160 with buckle .alot of money really but I'll be happy with it .

yeah i saw that too, stitching and weave seems to match gen, but no way to tell color, feel of the fabric or its true width until it is in hand, also the buckle and the metal keepers are unbranded.
both the time factors and phenomenato have the colours a bit off. and time factors is too wide, (measures at 22.6mm)
I don't feel like spending $58 + shipping on this to try when the gen from ace jewelers is priced pretty well.

I ordered mine from ace jewelers. It is on back order with a 10 day wait and then a few days shipping but I thought it was worth the wait.
Better than trying lots of different cheap and not so cheap nato straps only to get the general in the end anyway because you're not happy with them

I'm still debating this strap, if only it was a tiny bit cheaper I'd pull the trigger.
To clarify - have you guys gone for the 20mm or 22mm? as Nato's tend to be a bit oversize.

The genuine omega bond nato from ace jewelers is a 21mm and fits just right, phenomenato I think you'd want 22mm and maybe some curved spring bars. Either strap looks good, although I bought the gen omega spectre one from ace jewelers I'm not sure it's worth the hefty price tag, with hindsight I think the phenominato would've been just fine.

Thanks for the info. I'm still debating it, as I'm planning on swapping the hardware over as the rep parts are very good.

The rep hardware is a bit narrow for the phenomenato as it's only a fraction over 21mm. You can get a 22mm omega buckle for about £30- £40 from eBay though and leave the plain keepers. The 22mm buckle is polished so get the polished phenomenato version and I reckon that's good enough.

The rep hardware may cause accelerated wear on the edges of the phenomenato as the hardware is 21mm, the phenomenato being 22mm will fit as it can be compressed a bit but the edges will run against the metal on the hardware.

That was partly why I was wondering if a 20mm would be better (still assuming it comes out a little oversize).
£42 is plenty enough for it without risking damaging it though !
