Agreed. 95% of people you run into don’t know what a Patek is. 4.9% know, but won’t be able to spot a good rep on your wrist (as long as no obvious tells like light blue moon disc, and you look like you can afford the watch). .1% can spot a good rep…and they’re all members of this forum.

Rather than spending the extra $1,000 on polishing the minute hand to gen spec, etc., go buy some nice shoes and tailored clothing. The end result will be the same, and moreover impress the other 95%.

What about the issue of the micro rotor not winding efficiently ? It takes wild hand movements to keep this thing charged ! (Atleast for the PPF version) I’m pretty sure it’s still not made of gold, so the «problem» is probably still there.

Looks like the light coloured moonphase was just the lighting in my previous pics, looking good here. I've asked for the 3 and 12 indices to be realigned by my modder and then it'll be on its way to me!

I just received my QC, unfortunately mine has a crooked 12 index too. Really strange that they decided to build something like this and then fail on such an obvious detail that often. I wonder if I'll be lucky in round 2.

Sw is literally dogshit. And i have a 5712 sw build on my wrist. Their printing is sloppy and the indexes are almost never perfect. Worse yet, they make a HORRIBLE dial for the 5167 aquanaut which everyone seems to want to be installing. The numbers dont have same thickness lines. The 10 especially has a thicker line for the 1 than for the 0, unlike gen (or stock 3kf for that matter). People install horrible looking dials on their watch for “greenish lume”. Sorry for the long rant but yeah i dont like sw.

This is the expensive $x00+ SW dial that has crooked indices, I would have RL'd the dial during QC but I was getting Tiffany&Co printed onto it so only got to see it after the printing was done, hence why I am now getting the indices realigned.

Imho the ome dial looks great. I’d get the stock ome, pinion caps and ace movement if i was building a 5712 now.
