WeChat-Sellers price this model with 5000 Y, so it should be at around 1000 USD at the TDs.Very nice! What's the pricing like for this watch. Also wondering if they have Tiffany stamped dials...

Regarding the color of the Central and Date pinions heads, from what I have seen on internet, I am under the impression that there have been gen 5712 with a silver color.
Looking at various pictures of this watch from dealers, reddit, and here, it's odd that the power reserve hand pinion looks larger in some pics than others. It's probably hard to spot on the wrist, but I would certainly pay a little extra to get that fixed.Looks like dial+pinion mod is still needed, otherwise is a good release. What's the thickness can I ask? It seems like it makes a very good base to start from.
Sorry. What do you mean ?Sad that there's no tungsten rotor and therefore this remains a manual-wind watch![]()
it has to spin in the anticlockwise direction to wind the watch. the 240 clone movement needs a heavier rotor otherwise it can't do thatSorry. What do you mean ?
I have had issues with trying to get the rotor to spin on the PPF version. I always thought it was an oiling issue, not a rotor issue. Are there any fixes ?
Basically 5712 - the rotor can keep the watch charged but will never ever power it. When I wore it daily I had to wind it every 3 days to keep the PR up. It's a known issue.
The gold micro rotor on the 240 Patek is not just for bragging rights, it's physics - you need a heavy rotor to drive enough kinetic energy to wind the mainspring.
I've had mine for over a week and it's running fine. The only time I wound it was on the day it arrived. As others have mentioned, it keeps charge with use.it has to spin in the anticlockwise direction to wind the watch. the 240 clone movement needs a heavier rotor otherwise it can't do that
I always thought the issue was mine was oiling. Is there an after market mod or tungsten rotor? I desperately need it. Mine doesn’t charge properly unless I treat it with heavy hand movement.Basically 5712 - the rotor can keep the watch charged but will never ever power it. Mine is fully serviced. Again keeps the watch charged but will never increase PR. If I keep it on wrist 18 hours a day it'll still lose a teensy bit of PR each day. It works best at around 24hr PR.I always thought the issue was mine was oiling. Is there an after market mod or tungsten rotor? I desperately need it. Yeah. Same scenario. An Apple Watch basically trying to reach my fitness goals by keeping the PR up.Mine is fully serviced. Again keeps the watch charged but will never increase PR. If I keep it on wrist 18 hours a day it'll still lose a teensy bit of PR each day. It works best at around 24hr PR.
