well , when i got mine , i was desperate to mod it ! , i remember Guru told me not to do it , that it was a waste of money , so then i decided to wait a couple of months , many times i when to the AD to try the gen and compare , and after wearing it for some time i decided not to mod it and invest the money on prostitutes , i mean more watches

Anyway, 99% of people could not spot the difference between the modern SA rep and the gen.

SuperAvenger is the nicest Breitling by far. Have owned a Gen and a rep..too close to call, especially if you mod a rep with a gen bracelet as I did.

Great, thanks dood. I'm just wondering. HOW exact of a replica are they? I purchased a rep submariner a few years ago. It was $800, but it was a perfect replica of the actual subs. I see a lot of sites to purchase from being endorsed pretty highly, but their product is approximately $200-ish. So, are the less expensive ones still exact?

noob v3 is very, very accurate (as well, as the h-factory v2 I guess).
There are no obvious screaming flaws, and it's almost impossible to spot a rep from a distance. Personally I'm not a bracelet guy, that's why I have changed it to a strap. Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

If you want to make it fully undetectable, it can fit almost all gen parts.
The most popular (and very affordable) upgrade is to change the dial and hands.
Some enthusiasts also change the movement and bezel to genuine.

But it is very good as it is. I think, I agree with PecMan - there is no point to spend money on upgrades any more.

There are lots of threads on the forum about these reps, written by much more experienced guys than me. You may want to check them.

This is my custom DLC'ed franken SA on a custom strap from Kutio.....









It's an awesome strap, but just a few mm too long. I asked Kutio if he could make me one exactly like it, but just a few mm shorter. Since he confirmed that he still has the exact same leather, I will be putting this strap up for sale when I get back home tonight. Pm me if anyone is interested! It's a fantastic looking and comfortable strap!

I will also be posting a WTB for a polished deploy buckle so I can wear this strap with my white dialed franken. If anyone has one for sale, please send me a pm!

Had trouble with sizing bracelet, DIDNT know anything about these forums or the unspoken rule of not going into a shop with the rep, but a Rollie agent services the watch (after closely inspecting it) and had no problem doing it for free. So to answer your question, yes.

For $800 you can definitely make a sub super-clone.
I have one, built by BK - it is one year old, and it is absolutely flawless.
