Did you ever wind up purchasing the SS version? I am going to pull the trigger soon but can not decide if I should get the SS version or the RG version. Does the RG plating fade or fall off? If so I should probably get the SS version.Wow, that's a beauty. Finally someone bought this watch . I was waiting for a review and now that I finally found one, I might get the SS version. This is 42mm yes?
How do you like the Ap buddy ? Im looking to pull the trigger on that one. Do you have other pic or video of thr flying tourbillon ?

Thank you for the suggestion - I was leaning that way. I was briefly considering the RG but your post gave me some much needed clarity!! Have you found any pics of the SS version on a wrist?sad to say but no, too much customs risk here in my country for me to get a tourby. Rep nowadays have a good RG plating. I got a rg rep that was almost 3 years old and shows now signs of fading, Although I rarely use it. If I may suggest, get the SS one, much more flexibility when you wear one, just make sure you get the one with blue second hand like the gen. Keep us posted
Going to pull the trigger soon. Two questions:
1. Which dealer should I go through? Worried about customs a bit (I live in US - California), but the watch station price saves me like ~$250 ($818 vs $567 before shipping costs). That nothing to discount.
2. Which one should I get? Conflicted between these two
a. Vach Constantin Patrimony: http://puretime01.com/the-patrimony...-cream-dial-on-black-croco-leather-strap.html
b. Jaeger Master Tourby: http://puretime01.com/watch-brands/...dition-white-dial-on-black-leather-strap.html
I'm really leaning towards the Vach as the movement looks really similar to the gen.
I would suggest go to a non-wholesale td. I believe WS doesn't send qc pics which you might be personally inclined to have because this is a high value purchase. Second, go for a td that offers re-shipping for free in case of customs seizure, since this is a high value sale. Discount is really tempting but not worth the risk IMO. Keep us posted, quite a few have been waiting for someone to get that one. What about this question:

How do you like your Ap tourbi ? Almost pull the trigger. I want some personal opinion about that. Could you show more pic ?^ Yep I've had the same issue but it was picked up during QC. Here are my 2 Tourby's. I put a JF 15400 bracelet on the AP tourby - it fits nicely and the quality if the JF bracelet blows the rep one out of the water.
The rep strap on the VC is also real gater and soft as. No need for new strap on this watch. Also these Tourby movements are very very accurate. They haven't lost any time over a 1.5 week period. Spot on.
The VC looks amazing. Really wondering how the ss version's quality compared to the rg. Wear them in good health mate.^ Yep I've had the same issue but it was picked up during QC.
