Well you do have Miami University in Oxford Ohio that shares the same name as the University of Miami in Florida. That is the only thing Ohio and Florida have in common @m5750.

When ever Canada is brought up I think of: crack smoking Mayor of Toronto, colorful plastic money. beer, whiskey, Mr. Sub (the answer to who makes the best Sub), beaver (not the animal) and friendly uneducated people like me .

This, I didn't expect. I never thought of any part of Toronto as dangerous.

Just like any major city there will be parts that visitors should say clear of.

Here, at least in Cleveland, you could tell someone, "good morning", and they'd tell you to drink nuclear waste. It's the same in the south, but in a friendlier way, such as, "bless your heart", which translates to, "get f**ked".
