I had a Motorola startac for my first phone back in 1998 when I got my school/work driving permit. I thought I was hot shit with that and my 1979 Honda prelude. On a side note out of all the cars and cellphones I've had those were both my favorites.

Being the coolest of the 1980's dollar jockeys moving into the 1990's, that phone was the epitome of cool. Ahhh...fond memories of the times of greed and excess!

My half brick was grey but otherwise the same. Pity they don't still build mobiles as rock solid as the early stuff was, they may just last until the end of a contract then.
