Hey all you Ploprof lovers, I need some help!!! Where would be the best place to get a replacement crystal, crown and crown guard? If anyone could at least point me in the general direction I would be forever grateful!!

You probably would have the most success by placing your half done ploprof case and a dislodged tooth under your pillow with a note of the parts you are wishing for.

Assuming you have a v2, parts are hard to find, you may be able to find a crystal on the bay but the crown and CG are hard to find. You'll have to do a little research but perhaps measure your crystal and contact Helson and Ocean 7 to see if they have any of that size to sell you. They make a version of the Ploppy modeled after the SM600. Whether it fits or not is determined on size. Crowns and CG wont as it's a different mechanism.

Speaking of beat up -- the SM600 (166.077) Ploppy with a corroded dial is known by some as an exploding dial, it commands more than a pristine, NOS model. If you're not opposed to a homage, you can still find the Helson Sharkmaster 600 for on the resale market.

Interesting observation: I’m seeing fewer and fewer Ploppy’s advertised than I used to. I guess they are finding their way into permanent collections.
I have a gorgeous V2 that I got from TommyV5 before he disappeared, and I was working a deal with him to buy a white V2 when he submerged. Still looking for a white V2. I know they’re super rare, but we all have our personal grails. I even have a set of gen white straps for when I find it, lol!
