Bit disappointed because its not in as good a shape as I was told. The bezel is cracked at the 10. In fact the bezel is pretty bad. I guess having a 21j would be the reason why it stopped ticking while on my wrist for just abt an hour 3x already.

you could try sourcing bezel from one of the TDs but doubt they''ll be cheap

Im gonna start sending it out for a few upgrades shortly. I hadnt planned on doing much with it but the crown guard is not great. The bezel crystal is loose, cracked and badly scratched and the movement is stopping when i stop moving. I def should have asked for better photo's of the watch but got trigger happy . This doesnt take away how much i like the watch itself because its a serious watch.

If i were to up the movement to a clone 2836 or a 2813, rep bezel with lume, what would something like that run me if done by a Trusted modder? Should I be sourcing these things myself or are they easy enough that a mod would have em typically without a major bump in cost do to lack of availability?

availability may be an issue. I dont know if its a v1.5 or v2 but if its a v1.5 you probably have better luck sourcing parts v2 are next to impossible.

Thats what I figured. Its a v1.5. After a day wearing it, my mind settled a bit. Ill be patient and buy things for it as I see em. The bezel will get attention 1st so once thats done i am sure ill be good for awhile.

Either way I am happy I got one. Lots of wrist time this will get

$675 is the cheapest I've found, just don't know if I can bring myself to spend that much on mesh. Any thoughts?

I am very tempted to order, I have tried mine on a mesh and wasn't quite sure it suited me. but the gen mesh is tempting me! i just don't want to regret paying so much for a gen mesh and not to use it.

sorry to hear about issues with your ploprof, that really sucks. the V1.5 are readily available so getting a bezel insert shouldn't be an issue (check witht he TDs). From the sounds of it, it seems that there is a serious issue with the movement if it keeps stopping like that. I see in your first pic that the crown guard is not fully flush with the case, is that the issue with it? if this is the case then that means the crown is not screwing down properly, and can also possibly be the stem is too long.

White dial V1.5 should be available, V2s are extremely rare now as I think they are all sold out with no more being made.

Since no one has addressed if the helium escape valve works (or just decorative) I thought you guys might find this tidbit interesting.
I was poking around with my ploprof and noticed a groove on the inside of the case which seemed to go in the direction of the helium escape value. so i bent a paperclip and poked it into the groove and guess what, it pushes on the helium escape valve and it comes out! just like on the valve on the DSSDs. Obviously it's spring loaded to it just pops back in to seal the case once i release the pressure.

So there we go the helium escape valve is functional! (at least for the V2 since that's what mine is)
