we all know how the game goes with versions, the factory doesnt want to make it perfects from the start otherwise you wont buy 8 versions of it ahah.
this watch is soo new tho I have never seen the gen and i own and have friends that own gen AP's and they havent seen one either so I i showed them this they would for sure think its gen dispite the flaws with it. Not like it is a rolex submariner that has been out for years and years and everyone knows what they looke like. so it has that going for it for us early adopters.

perhaps i buy the v1 blue then skip over the v2 and pick up a v3 or v4 of it in a years time when it has been out and has more publicity of the watch.


lets all agree that if the gen looked the way the v1 here does we all would be very happy w its sexy and modern looks would we not?


I have my own online business so i dont have to worry about a client "calling me out" at a corporate event on my fake watch. I like to enjoy the beautiful watch as much as i can which is why we are all here, to enjoy nice watches without spending 1million dollars on our collections, not nessarily to impress clients in our business.

These Chinese factories are under time pressure to release new models. That why its a time vs get it perfect tradeoff....the v2 will come out pretty quick once these are out and have become mainstream. Also price will come down once Noon version is out so may make sense to wait a bit unless you feel bad about missing this years summer...

Well, unfortunately they would only stop doing it when people stop jumping on the bandwagon to buy every model V1 to V12 .... So till that happens they will keep doing that to spread their profit over a longer period. They take advantage of the fact that it's our hobby and some people especially who can't help themselves but plunge at anything AP that comes out haha.... So best thing is to take it as it is or be patient to wait for a version you can cope with or just BUY THEM ALL, which is what they want lol. Everyone got a choice or choices should I say :wink:

At 16mm the Chono Diver is still thinner than the Barrichello at 17.4mm, let alone PAM subs that usually measure at 18mm.
