Indeed. Personally, with these flaws, i will only accept them with the current v7 price. (Ignoring the risk of breakdown of a7750).

Summer watch hunt continues. ..
Should be about the same as any AP chrono (second at 12). The things that bother me most are the details that could have been gotten right, but are all so wrong.
But well, the blue is still quite good looking though

err.... yes.... but at least they can get the sub dials size correct because it is the most glaring one.
And i also think (not 100% sure) the crown is wrong (side profile)

I just pointed out some of the flaws I see. (Gen on the left, Rep on the right)
1. Bezel numbers are larger than gen.
2. Bezel markers should be on the center, not in the edge.
3. AP logo and 300m/Automatic way to thick compared to gen.
4. Pushers seems larger on the rep.
5. The case has some details that can be easily call out.
6. Tapisserie on dial are smaller than the gen.
That's the one I can see, maybe some more experienced person can say more about it?

With all these flaws need to reconsider...
Id like to see actual owner pics in the next coming week or two to see what actually comes out the doors of factory if they see this thread and make some last minute easy fixes.

no good idea to compare small details between crisp pics of gen with blurred low res.
Better to wait for comparison with real pics.
Both of the pictures were High Res, otherwise is pointless to compare as you say.
And the pointed details are pretty noticeable even with low res pictures, I would say when someone compare it with real photos there will be more flaws.

Now we have all four to choose from. The color of the blue is reasonably accurate on the above rep, IMO.
Same flaws as indicated on my post, big numbers on bezel, markers on the edge instead on the middle...btw, blue and yellow looks great.
Overall the replication of this series has been disappointing for me. Only thing I can do is to stay away till an acceptable version is released.
I agree with you on this. I have been looking forward to this release, but now I just think it´s an overpriced half-assed rep.
we all know how the game goes with versions, the factory doesnt want to make it perfects from the start otherwise you wont buy 8 versions of it ahah.
this watch is soo new tho I have never seen the gen and i own and have friends that own gen AP's and they havent seen one either so I i showed them this they would for sure think its gen dispite the flaws with it. Not like it is a rolex submariner that has been out for years and years and everyone knows what they looke like. so it has that going for it for us early adopters.
perhaps i buy the v1 blue then skip over the v2 and pick up a v3 or v4 of it in a years time when it has been out and has more publicity of the watch.
lets all agree that if the gen looked the way the v1 here does we all would be very happy w its sexy and modern looks would we not?
I have my own online business so i dont have to worry about a client "calling me out" at a corporate event on my fake watch. I like to enjoy the beautiful watch as much as i can which is why we are all here, to enjoy nice watches without spending 1million dollars on our collections, not nessarily to impress clients in our business.
