I would read the forums in order to understand the rep and its characteristics. Be happy you got a solid watch for a good price. Overall, it looks pretty decent. I guess the details are what make the gen worth big money. Something about diminishing returns. Other than the obvious color deficiency, no one across the room will call you out.
Which TD did you purchase from and how long did it take to get into your hands?

Feels like forever man. V8 and now V9 and still no, no date in sight.
I want to buy a Sub now but want a close to 1:1. almost tempted to get ARF but i kinda dont want a date in general

Its a hit and miss like all BP versions (yes it has the BP dial) some look good others look like shit.

Hi there - thank you for replying.
Of course I've read all of this thread from the beginning so I'm pretty aware about most things. That why I bought Noob v9 at the end.
I was asking specifically to check some details that maybe I can't even see - DW alignment, handstack, correct rehaut aligment etc.
I bought it via Ryan - InTime and took 16days from QC images

Just an update, I ordered a 116610LN v9 from chazingtime. Payment went through 7/6 and still waiting for QC. Apparently chazing gets good stock so I'll be patiently waiting.
If you're considering a v9, be aware of possible delays. Maybe factory is busy pushing the Daytonas out.

just got done with an afternoon with my V9 hulk @ the waterpark, swimming 4 ft deep, submerged for probably half the day, and it came out GREAT! only thing is, i put a light scratch in the case from the waterslide. but no water damage what so ever. Im still going to have it pressure tested and greased, but I just wanted to report in on this. my crown was TIGHT, and Im not advising ppl to do this, but for almsot 2 months I have been wondering how it would fair swimming, and it passed the test well! Again, THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE. Im lucky everything was tight propper. but from now on, ill swim in a normal pool with it, but waterpark is too ruff, all the gritty non slip surfaces. but she got a great cleaning! Ill post some pics later. But Im happy...from the guy who was first afraid to wash his hands with it, as its my first rep. then it got poured on heavy in a storm, so i said okaaay...and Im happy to report the swim/day was a positve experience for my hulk v9 and I. Looks great in the sun under water too! Again this was a little test of mine Im happy it passed. get your rep tested before you do this. but v9 is having a good track record. Im sure Im just paranoid, Im sure NF subs have BEEN waterproof. again im new lol.

now theres no need anymore for watertest n grease for some time. i recommend test n grease in about 1 or 2 years(if u swim every day->maybe earlier).
afaik the insert is held just by doublesided sticky tape, but i never heard that insert fell off from swimming.

How bad are the raids right now? I'm moving in mid august and need to notify my TD of an address change if they watches are still not ready by then.
