I have a panda v3 stock noob. The paint on the bezel is bad and the sub dials are crazy thin. This is why I bought the V4 which I am very happy with.
You got lucky with your v3, bezel and dial look great. you got it from a good batch. Nice watch. Enjoy it.

Currently I have two 116500 v4 and they do look very good, especially the SELs and bezels ! Both will be modded shortly with new GEN dials, hands and xtal gasket. As in the process I'll have to remove the stock ceramic bezel, I have a question is it worth changing it to the CLEAN one (I have some spare ones) ?

Yes bro i like my example but i will upgrade for either noob or arf panda dial i must decide when i recieve both qc
both have good and bad sides
also i will upgrade to clean bezel

Just compare it side by side with clean...i must say that on pictures v4 looks very gen with color but idk if its durable like clean

Can't tell them apart.. So i'll have to see in the long run - that's an easy swap

can you send me pics private or here public? Side by side but from few angles in low light and stronger light..i know when i pictured gen bezel vs mine v3 the difference was on angles like gen had brighter look on angles

Here you go, Noob is on the right side or on top. My Clean bezel has been worn for over a year and therefore dirty.

Definetly noob looks more genlike..maybe if you could wash your clean bezel with tootbrush and soapy water ?

My V4 noob. Guys the bezel is amazing and it’s very GEN like. On both low and high lighting it looks very GEN. Look at the picture and decide on your own.
If you have a V4 it’s not worth spending a penny extra to put a CV bezel. Just buy a V4 and enjoy it.

Do you have an actual Gen Daytona bezel to compare it with?
So far i have not seen a Noob or ARF bezel that has the same platinum shine in daylight as the CF bezel does.
A gen its not supposed to be WHITE in all situations. It has a platinum/white shimmer that really comes alive in sunlight. (Like other gen rolex ceramic bezels.)
My point is, it's impossible to judge the inserts based on pictures, you need them in hand to see the difference.

Having gone through the entire thread, the whole discussion seems to be mainly around the 5 lines of text (bold, thin), bezel, DAYTONA lettering. I don't see mention of the coronet, I think the noob in the past is a clear step down from the GEN, which has a much more lustre appearance with a almost 3D effect. The ARF gets close. Anyone have closeups of the coronet on the V4?

I wish I had a GEN bezel to compare it with. I can’t wait to see pictures of a stock V4 compared to a GEN.
Some people prefer the CF over the V4 bezel and some say V4 is better. Before V4 everyone on this forum agreed that CF is the best. Now there is competition which is great.

Despite having bought the Noob V4 panda that I am quite happy with, I have great nostalgia for my gen 116520 black dial that was stolen from me. I was thinking about buying the Noob with the 4130 movement as well. I haven't read any great comments about it, what do you think, is it a worthy purchase? Thanks for your advice.
