what ever colour he used its better thsn flat steel enamel that we have all been using.ive asked him what paint and mix he used ,but no reply yet
Sorry mate, until he confirms I'm sticking with it being stock. Just look at the last photo he uploaded in response to benjji -- all the markers from 40- the 12 oclock position.. it's the same white as the old noob that is in that photo. The rest is shadows/lighting and a poor resolution photo.
Besides, he got it on the day prior to posting, a plat paint mod would not set fully in that little time... and you'd probably see paint along the engraved walls too.

ill bet u a v3 its painted.look at the black sub next to it is also painted.then look at tbe the v2 next to the gen that is not painted its stock birdshit.basically all the pics are platinum painted apart from the noob v2 next to the gen
its a v2 look at the cg shape.and the position of the crown.also lug shape.and the insert 2 and 3 are weird and incorrect
Well I already said you've got a better eye for this stuff, which is why I've got to run my QC by you once they're in.. if they're in.
If it's a good mod that lasts, then I'd like it done as well. Any insight about the mixes' durability? If it's good then all that I'd have to mod is a BP dial and gen+lec crystal.

I was thinking it looked too silver as well. Honestly the gen looks pretty white to me in pics like that. The platinum is one of those things you notice more in person, but it's not dark silver like that, more white at some angles and light platinum at others. I honestly think painting it makes it a more obvious fake unless you are really skilled. Like in that guys the triangle is so rough it's just way too obvious

he dosent know which colour he used or the mix they sell mr hobby metal chrome silver,stainless steel,and aluminium,the paint says it can be polished to give a realistic metal look.but for now ill stick with the paint mike00 used, annitas platinum paint.his mod looks bloody legit.shame he wont tell me his mix but ill try and work it out ,until i get hold of a gen insert
I contacted Puretime about my QC pics and they said they're waiting on a new batch to come in, yet they took my money... So basically I paid for something that's not in stock... I'm trying to look on the bright side though, at least they didn't try to send me a V2...
kev all the tds seem to take the money even though they don't have it in stock for the v3 release its stupid.i wish this didn't happen because i know if a td whi has ut instock and could of bought it from him.now if u demand refund it will take 5 days to go back on the card.so all i can do is wait,plus sead is like 35pounds cheaper and next day delivery from uk.also toro has stock so i here
