All of you need to read Angus's post from 2/28/14.
I'm a newbie here for frack sake, and I understand the new release issue.
It's not the TD issue but a factory issue. All of the TDs were told they would have the V3s, the factory messed up and sent incorrect V3s or V2s represented as V3s or whatever...some got good ones others not.
It does seem you want your cake and eat it too, when a TD offers pre-orders you jump at the chance to have that first one on your wrist. It's just like new autos or software, the first version/batch of a new design will have unforeseen problems.
Keep in mind all these things and don't be the first to buy a new release unless you are fully aware of the possibilities of issues, sometimes major issues and are willing to put up with it.
Angus is now not going to offer news about upcoming releases or offer pre-orders because of the lack of community, understanding and negativity in a forum dedicated to REP watches.
You want perfection buy a gen. You want smooth, order from Amazon.
Be Happy with the fact that this forum and a TD list exists.
Stop all your whining and own that you are buying REP.
I've only been here a short time and you lot, (you know who you are), are not acting like the educated veterans setting a good example on how to behave when things go awry, but like the lambasted snotty nosed newbies.
I'm sure the TD's will remedy the buyers associated with faulty V3 purchases.
WOW,
Rafa
I was talking about his quote tooi was ranting about demolition mans post.so im not too sure what u are talking about
wow wow lol the tds cant see the difference between a v2 and a v3 im having to tell tds the difference for christ sake.rant over lol
So because it's a "rep" we should put up with subpar business Ethics? Was that the point of that rant? If I were "Angus" I would tell you to take that rant down... Because I highly doubt he would want to be associated with such a rant towards his consumers, the same people who keep his business running. I'm sure he will sort things out, but to try to blame the costumers for any of this is crazy.
its not me im worried about.as obviously i can tell the difference, its noobs do u get what im saying
It's Subpar because as a "trusted" dealer they should know what product they're shipping to their consumers... Take me for instance, I barely can spot the differences between the V2 and V3 Subs... But thanks to this site, I'm learning BUT what if I didn't do any research? I would just be stuck with a V2 THINKING its a V3 because the "trusted" dealer said so. The problem I ran into is that I paid for (Yes, the money was deducted from my account) a product that's not even in their inventory at the present moment... Nothing was mentioned about "pre order" or "back order", it's advertised on their site as being "in stock"... So yes, these are sub par business practices. With all that being said, I'm letting them work things out without complaining to them and hopefully I will receive my product sooner than later. No that was not the point of my post.
Since the TDs are attempting to remedy, how is that sub-par business ethics?
I don't believe any of the TDs would purposely try to pass off V2s as V3s.
I'm not trying to blame anyone, just attempting to dial it down a bit.
Apologies if I've missed the mark.
You are not Angus...did you read his post?
