8:30AM in China right now. I got my QC pics at 9:15AM (Chinese time) yesterday. Hoping for an update on the situation in the next 8 hours or so. Fingers crossed.

No. But new launches of very popular watches have greater risk of going sideways. I think this might be the first time a factory "accidentally" included a previous "sold out" version in the new versions batches to the tds though.

I think the piece that worries me is that, as a newbie, I carefully studied the correct procedure. And even the moderators here made a point to say: "QC pics aren't for nitpicking, it's a courtesy."

But the truth is, I APPROVED my QC images. Much to my own embarrassment. I thought I knew what to look for, and it's only because of Jordan's honesty (at InTime), that I didn't receive the wrong watch.

Now, I'm super grateful for the honesty and integrity that Ryan and Jordan have shown me through this, but it does make me wonder if QC pics aren't just a "courtesy" but if they need to be treated much more seriously.

Lol, I'm not a newbie (low post count be been here for a while), and I approved the qc pics and actually received a v2 in error. I'm sure everyone has missed something in a qc that they saw once the watch arrived. I'll bet you only do it once though!

I ordered "the hulk" (v3) from Puretime this morning, Are they having the same issues? I hope not... This would be my first time ordering such a watch and I would hate to have an unpleasant transaction. Being that I'm new to this, I'm a perfect target to send a v2 when in reality I ordered a v3 because I really don't know the differences by eying the 2. :facepalm:

I think in your case you should not worry since the V2 Hulks have been out of stock forever... :cheese:

It IS in stock right now. Of course, they're all v2's.

That is the single biggest thing I have an issue with regarding this release. As someone else has said, I'm thinking the reason the v2 went out of stock was because a relatively minor part was out of stock, and now they are using the remaining v2 parts (case, bezel) along with some v3 watches to supply what is basically a v2.

What I can't believe is that on this and RG only three people have actually received a proper v3! There has to be more of them out there than that!
