Hey guys ,

Just received my NOOB v3 116500 LN from PureT
Very happy by the watch except the bracelet that feels cheap and sound quite bad.

The movement and bezel looks very nice to me. Yes the SEL are a bit thicker but nothing major.
What do you guys think ? Any advice on how to make the bracelet sound better?

Regards

Bathe the bracelet in baby or Olive oil and it'll quiet it down significantly. It'll have some residual oil on it for a week or two after drying it but eventually that goes away.

Your watch looks great! I do feel the same, bracelet looks and feel cheap! Wondering how’s the movement fresh from TD? Does it have loud rotor noise when moving around your wrist with the watch on?

No loud rotor movement. Still a bit louder than gem but very acceptable.
time keeping looks fine too and chrono works perfectly.
The bracelet though is a quite a big issue because it’s destroying the all quality of the watch .. Feels very light and sound fake

Yes exactly that’s how I feel. That’s why I’m sourcing ARF bracelet. However the folks here says it does not fit nicely into noob v3. :/

give it a baby oil bath and will be better, believe me. You have nothing to loose in trying.

if I don't remove fixed parts and change only the removable links and the closure with ARF bracelet will still seem fake?

Nearer than you think
Thanks for the helpful reply.

I actually did this experiment two days ago and it lost ~3-4 minutes after 24 hours. This is extremely disheartening since i spent almost $700 from InTime on this and it cannot perform to the same accuracy as my $100 Seiko.

I have contacted Ryan about this but he has not replied yet. The QC pics seemed good and showed the calibration was within range. I'd hate to bring this in locally to pay an additional ~$200 to have it serviced.

Well you should know that timegraphs sent by TDS are pretty much useless because they can easily be faked.
Sorry about that btw, it can happen

I find it super hard to QC the sub-dial thickness of Noob Daytonas.

So far I rejected both of these in the last days, as neither seem to be the "thinner" size. Am I wrong here and these are the actual V3 versions?

It's a bit frustrating, I never had any issues with the last +10 reps I bought.

im no expert but the first one is a v2 bezel, second one is a v3 bezel (based on the swoop on the R). both dials look to be older subdials though. below are images of mine, the subdials are thinner and the text sits slightly lower in the ring if you know what i mean
