maybe it is an ARF and not a noob.

Definitely not an ARF.

Look at the ROLEX wording in the middle of the dial and the S in UNITS on the bezel for an easy differentiator

Is it possible that no one can tell us with certainty which clock is it?

Not a chance. The 'R" in ROLEX and on the bezel are dead giveaways it's a NOOB. Not to mention the pushers, the subdials and the case shape. Ever seen the side profile of an ARF? Ewww.

Also, on the two pics of these new Noob V2 dials I've seen, the running seconds subdial has a flaw that while hardly noticeable and not worth quibbling over in a QC, help ID which dial it is. The tic marks at 45, 50, and 55 dont touch the inner ring as they should. Compare to the gen and ARF in Mscott's pics above.

Thanks for the comparison! Very useful information
It seems the subdial on 116500 are still thicker but not as the black version

The subdials on the 116500 are gen. It is a gen dial

Crowd doesn't seem to be amused. You'd tell them it's all GENUINE and they'll still find "the flaw". I love this hobby!!!!

Lmfao! fabbe79 You now realize its gen , right ? That should teach you a lesson not be so anal about minuscule details that you're not even capable of distinguishing, even when looking at gens you got mistaken.

Well actually I was referring to the post before mine that stated

noob v2 black dial compared to noob v2 white dial

But I agree sometimes we are too anal

The last 25 posts on this thread make absolutely no sense, I have no idea which dial people are referring to hahaha

Dear members,
some time ago (in Sept.2018) I did a comparison for the ARF and Noob. Both of them as stock from TD.
See therefore also the post #378 in this thread = link: https://forum.replica-watch.info/fo...-daytona-vs-arf-daytona?p=7079032#post7079032

Now I want to share some pictures (approx. 50 pic's) for the modded Daytona's
ARF = 116520 model
Noob = 116500 model

The "old" Pro's and Con's were and now the moddings for each watch.
ARF
+ dial and texture / printing and font typing -> still ARF = very good
+ look and feel of the complete watch
+ crystal is very good
+ rehaut thickness
+ crown (winding crown)
+ bracelet
+ clasp
+ 904 stainless steel
+ SEL fitment

- non working chrono = only stop-second function - if you can live with it - no problem, cause watch is real nice in look and feel
- 7750 movement
- caseback (too thick = cause of deco plate & rotor inside) => removed all deco plates (ARF deco plates for 4130 look) installed a normal ETA7750 rotor = reduced thicknes // installed a slim caseback of a JF Daytona (from the non-chrono / faux chrono version) == now the watch is 12,7mm thick!!!
- pushers too long - slightly shortened
- incorrect position of pushers

NOOB
++ movement clone of 4130 and with all of its functions = +++ - this movement is running very strong and keeps time great / NO service needed - movement was very clean!
+ look and feel of complete watch (but not the bracelet!)
+ crystal (but not the gasket!) - gasket was shaved down
+ hand stack and hands
+ windings crown - GEN crown installed
+ pushers = very accurate
+ SEL fitment

- now + dial and texture and font typing (also sub dials too fat) -- ARF dial from ARF 116500 installed (dial was shaved 1mm in diameter to fit the Noob) - dial is top notch !!
- now + bezel could be much better for 116500 - ARF bezel from ARF 116500 = much better - see the pictures
- now + bracelet: the polished center links are very "sharp" in the area to the brushed links // not very good - were softended and got also a bath in baby-oil = fine result
- clasp and looks and feel of the clasp compares to the ARF

And here are now approx. 50 pictures for comparion.
Please note = ARF model is the 116520 (mostly on the left side or bottom) and Noob model ist the 116500 (mostly on the right side or upwards)
